It was much later the day heading to five the afternoon.
Maya was just sitting in her room going through some old photos.
It was mostly of her and Riley but had some with the others as well.
(I'll put the photos under.)
Maya comes upon a photo of her and Josh then she smiles.
Through all the sadness she did have a few things she could never forget.
Yeah she didn't have the ideal childhood but everything she is now is thanks to what she has been through.
She knows it doesn't have to be perfect.
She knows she doesn't have to be perfect.
She is probably the most messed up girl there is and still Josh wants something to do with her.Josh comes through Maya's window and immediately sees her with all the photos.
He hasn't seen her with it in awhile but knew she looks at them."Guessing your reunion didn't go good," Josh said and sat down next to Maya.
"Why does everyone think I can forgive and forget?" Maya asked.
"That Sweetheart. Is up to you. It's up to you to forgive them. I can't help you with that," Josh said.
"I know. Wish you could actually," Maya said smiling.Josh pulls a strand of hair out of Maya's face and lightly touches her cheek.
"Okay. Let me help you a bit. Do you think you can forgive them? After leaving you, after not having contact with you after everything you've been through. Can you possibly forgive them?"
"No. I don't think I can," Maya said.
"Maya it is really up to you. But no matter what. I'll support you," Josh said.
"I know you will. It's just a lot harder than I thought," Maya said sighing.Josh gives her a hug and a kiss on the head.
This was his way of telling her it's okay and he's there.
She always knew he would be there no matter what but not this often.
She sees him every day.
Goes to his college.
He comes to her high school.
Hopefully their love will stay forever.Photos Maya was looking at
