It was a Monday morning and Maya jumped out of bed at the sound of her alarm. Let's see what could make her excited. Her mother is twenty-eight weeks pregnant with other words seven months and this is the first day of junior year for her as well while all her friends are off to the next thing. Maya quickly gets dressed while she hears noises from the kitchen.

"Mom? Hey is everything okay?" Maya asked Rushing to her mother who were standing trying to catch her breath. "Yeah, Honey. Just some cramps. I'm okay. I promise," Katy said. "You gave me a fright. Sit down. I'll make you some tea. Where is Dad?" Maya asked as she put the kettle on. "At work. Gosh this is getting hard," Katy said. "Don't you in to the bakery. I'll go throw a eye over the waiters," Maya said and her phone rang.
M: Mrs Morgenstern? Everything okay? J: Yeah, could you possible look after Ava this afternoon for a few hours? I'll pay you. M: Not needed. I love hanging with the girl. I'll pick her up from school. J: Thank you, Maya. Bye.
"Ava's mom. She wants me to look after her this afternoon. I can still keep an eye on the bakery. Josh has something he has to do this afternoon so I'm safe to help," Maya said as she handed her mom a mug. "Thanks. How old is Ava now?" Katy asked. "She's turned nine in May. I'm gonna help with the party. You shouldn't take on too much while being pregnant," Maya said. "You get to school. I'll be fine," Katy said and Maya was off.
