It was a Monday morning but it didn't even matter to Maya nor did it matter to Josh. The two of them were snuggled up in his apartment in each other's arms while they were watching a Christmas movie. Josh gave Maya a kiss against her head as she lightly rubbed his arm. It may have been her parents first Christmas with baby Patrick but it was also her first Christmas that she and Josh was actually together. She couldn't even believe that while it did seem that he was more than happy with the matter of facts.
"Aren't your parents wondering where you are?" Josh asked and Maya shook her head. "No. They are occupied with Patrick. I'm actually very happy to be here. I won't want to be anywhere else," Maya said smiling. "You know I love this as well but it doesn't seem that you are bothered with your parents," Josh said as Maya sat up straight. "Cause I don't. If they don't want to be apart of my life I can't force them, Josh. Besides. Why open my heart to people who doesn't want me when I can be with you?" Maya asked as Josh gave her a kiss.
