It was Thanksgiving afternoon and Maya was getting ready knowing she will have to be prepared for when her brother is coming due to the fact that her mother is now 39 weeks. She quickly brushes her hair as she hears the sound of voices. She smiles as she goes down stairs.

"Hey, guys," Maya said. "Hey. You look nice," Shawn said. "Thanks. How you feeling, Mom?" Maya asked "I'm okay. You guys can stop worrying. I think he won't give us another early surprise. He is due next Friday," Katy said as they heard the doorbell. "I'll get it," Shawn said opening the door.
"Ah, it's baby Matthews," Shawn said causing Maya to laugh. "Funny, Dad. Hi, Boing," Maya said giving Josh a kiss. "Shawn usually like this or did I just miss something?" Josh asked. "He's worried because my due date is next week. Hi, Josh. Welcome," Katy said. "Thank you, Katy," Josh said. "Dad, relax. Mom would tell us if something is wrong," Maya said. "Yeah, I..." Katy said and suddenly started having cramps. "You okay?" Shawn asked rushing to his wife. "I'm... Ah." "Should I pull out the car?" Maya asked. "Yes," Shawn said. "Maya, let's go. Come," Josh said and they ran out of the apartment as Shawn grabbed the hospital bag.
