August was beautiful. She really felt beautiful today in her clothes now more than she had an hour ago. After Lucy's proposal, both females made their way to a high end boutique in a matter of minutes and two employees immediately greeted them upon walking in. August was given three shirts, roughly her size and was shoved into the dressing room area further in the back of the store. The first shirt she tried on was black and fit snug. It had thin white stripes on it, almost unnoticeable if you weren't looking hard. It matched her pants but she didn't want black on black.

Next was a plain red collared shirt and immediately August hated it. She didn't look any better than she had a couple minutes ago when she wore red. It was such a cliché opinion, all females choose red or black when going to a party and she personally wanted to stay away from the color for as long as possible.

Almost immediately after putting on the third shirt, August knew it would have to do. She couldn't be too picky and this shirt was okay for her needs. It was plain yet classy and hopefully she'd be able to at least get through the doors of some high end companies looking for new employees. Lucy and August quickly paid and walked out the door, August had gotten a free brush from the boutique, a company policy for all new time shoppers and was able to brush out her wreck of a hair and tame it a little better. She then put it into a low, loose messy bun.

"Hmm. . ." she trailed off unsure of what to say, "thanks Lucy, you really didn't have to do this" she blushed and brushed a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "No problem" Lucy gave her a bright smile before awkwardly pulling August into a hug. "It was nice getting to know you, here's my number. Call me when you get the chance, I'd like to know how your interview went!" August promised to call Lucy as soon as she got a chance and headed off to the interview in hopes of finding a job before the week was up.

The lady behind the counter at S.T.A.R Corp raised an eyebrow at August's attire as she looked her up and down, occasionally stopping at August's full, plump breast. "Yes?" She spoke in a low, suggestive tone. August blushed as she leaned against the counter awkwardly. "I'm here for the interview? Are they still going or did the CEO already find a secretary?" The lady typed away at her computer, pulling up the CEOs email he sent out today. "The interviews are still going on just take the elevator to your left to floor seven and sign in at the desk. Rumbas will show you were to wait." August thanked her before quickly walking over to the elevator where she and nine other employees waited for the doors to open.

When they did, all ten crammed into the small elevator that held five other employees, already having dropped off three. Almost all of the floors were highlighted including seven so August pushed her away through the crowd and leaned against the rail for support. She then waited until the elevator arrived at the seventh floor, occasionally stopping to drop off and take in people.

"Excuse me" August sighed in relief when she got to the seventh floor and check in counter. "I'm here for the interview" she smiled at the guy behind the counter. He slipped a clip board her way along with a pen and watched August sign in. "My name is Rumbas but you can call me Rum, I'm one of the many secretaries that work on this floor." He held out his hand to shake and August took it immediately "August Winters" Rumbas looked at her weirdly before nodding and motioning her over to the seating area were three men and two women sat waiting. Both women and one of the men were conversing about business which helped calm August's nerves knowing that they weren't here for the interview. The other two men looked nervous, their hands shook and sweat dripped down their faces as they inhaled short breaths. No doubt that they were related from the same hair color, eyes and facial structure of each other.

"Jeffree Brown" Rumbas called after ten minutes, a lady stepped into the elevator, face red as she looked at the ground. August automatically knew she came for the interview and more than likely didn't get it or embarrassed herself. The youngest of the two men stood up and looked at his sibling before turning back to Rumbas and followed him down the hall, turned and left the sight of August.

August pulled out her new phone and began to place free games as she waited, occasionally switching to the news articles to read up on astronomy and new discoveries.

"Curtis Brown" Rumbas called next, Jeffree walked to the elevator, head down, shaking. Curtis looked at his sibling, almost begging for him to look up but Jeffree was so embarrassed that he kept his eyes down. August let out a shaky breath, everyone that comes out of that interview is in tears and is too nervous to look anyone in the eyes so when Jeffree walked out, thirty minutes later, she hoped that she had enough guts to get through this.
