August headed out of STAR Corp and onto the streets of LA, zipping and zooming past the crowds of people who had nothing better to do with their lives then to hang out on the streets. She passed by a group of kids playing basketball in a random alley, the boys nodded her way when she caught their eye. August nodded back heading on her way.

Throughout the day August had gotten most of her errands done, stopping by two custom suit stores to talk about setting Alec up with an appointment. She'd have to call them again to confirm the date but hopefully, they'd have tomorrow open so that August could get him fitted sooner rather than later.

August then headed to a closing store at 5pm named Black Tie and headed inside. The store was two stories, the first holding ball and gala dresses for females and the top holding suits, tuxedos and shoes for men.

"I'm sorry ma'am but we're ab—" August stopped her in the middle of her speech and held up a keycard Alec had stored in the secretary's filing cabinet. The lady's eyes widened as she stammered "I-I a-a-am so so-sorry ma'am i d-di-didnt know that y-you were w-with M-Mr. Sterling" the lady rushed to August, grabbing her arm and pulling her further into the store.

"I'm sorry I'm late, I know you're about to close but I need to be fitted for a gown for a gala this Saturday. Hopefully you can help me?" August apologized. The lady shook her head back and forth at the speed of light, it was amusing watching the lady frantically look around for the rest of the employees. She was petite, most likely standing at 4'6 with a slime body clad in a fitted black dress, black stockings and black flats. Her hair was curled and pulled into a messy but classy bun, nude lipstick on her lips with a thin layer of clear gloss. Her makeup was done to perfection. She was the definition of beautiful.

"No no no, you have nothing to apologize for! We normally look out for employees of Mr. Sterling coming here but he hasn't had a female stop by in a couple of years so I was just surprised" she chuckled nervously. Suddenly they stopped and the lady opened her mouth letting out an ear piercing yell "LINDA! LISA! MARANDA! MR STERLING SENT US A GUEST!" Loud crashing could be heard from every part of the building before two females ran to them from different sides of the building, next a female ran down the silver spiraling stairs to meet them in the middle.

"A girl?" One gushed in surprise. Another one squealed "AWWWWWEEWWWWW THIS IS GOING TO BE SO FUN!" Another one exclaimed jumping on her tippy toes to reach Augusts's face. Augusts's brows knitted together as she took in the one examining her face, she was just as short as the first. "I'm Lisa! That's Linda" she pointed to the other shirt girl "and that one over their is Maranda, she does the measurements while we pick out colors and fabrics that's look best on you" she rushed out. The girl who August had first met took her shoulder and pushed her back "I'm Emma, I price check but since you're with Mr. Sterling theirs no need for me" she let out a nervous giggle.

"Why?" August couldn't help but ask.

"Because Mr. Sterling is our main benefactor which means anything he or his employees want is free" she let Maranda grab August by the arm and drag her to a crescent moon free standing wall of mirrors. A stool and bench sat within the cubby. "Stand here" Maranda directed her to stand on top of an elevated wooden box painted white, just like the rest of the facility.

"I need you to stand still while I take your measurements and then we can work on picking fabrics and colors. While I measure I'll be asking you questions along with the girls, the first would be if you'd like a form fitted dress or something lose?" August thought but shrugged her shoulders in the end "I don't mind either. Whatever makes Mr. Sterling look good at the gala then I'll wear" Maranda nodded grabbing her measuring tape before bending down to her knees and began measuring.

By the time that they'd got done measuring and picking out fabrics, trying on sample dresses and deciding on if it should be a custom made dress or a tailored dress from the store, August was exhausted and the stores around them had already closed down for the night as it was closing in on ten p.m.

August yawned turning to the girls who were equally as tired but excited to start of her dress nonetheless. "I want to thank you for this, I know I was difficult to work with but I know nothing about dress and fabrics so thank you" she smiled giving Lisa a hug first. Lisa switched with Linda then Maranda and lastly, Emma. "I'll come back on Friday to pick the dress up. Thank you!" August waved goodbye to them again before heading out. She had a ways to go before she reached the office but when she did she slide her STAR Corp keycard into the slit and pushed open the heavy glass doors. STAR Corp required employees to swipe their cards to get in and out of the building after 7pm to ensure everyone's safety.

August headed to the elevator that would lead her to Alec's office, she had to get her stuff before she headed to her car. When August made it to the top floor she noticed that Rum had already cleared out his things and headed home, Ralph's lights were off along with Sam's but Alec's were still on. August knocked lightly before walking in.

"You're still here?" August asked walking to her desk. "Yep, I have to look over some new contracts" August gave a barely there nod as she grabbed her purse and began to stack and organize her desk. "You've been gone for quite some time" Alec noted setting his pen down.

"Had to run some errands, I also had to get fitted for the ball. Went to Black Tie" he hummed his approval. August headed to the door as Alec stood up "August?" She turned to look at him "would you like to grab dinner with me? It's late and I know your hungry" August shook her head "no thanks, I can cook when I get home plus my car is here, I don't want to leave it" she pursed her lips and got ready to spin around.

Alec sighed, grabbed her hand and brought his lips down on hers. It was a quick peck but it left August stunned. Alec pulled back and looked her in the eyes. "August?" He questioned, when she didn't reply he held his hand over her eyes "August?" He waved. August blinked stepping away from Alec. A blush rose up and coated her cheeks "Alec" she started in a warning tone, a smile edged its way on Alec's face, she looked like a angry kitten more than a tiger. August huffed running a hand through her hair "I don't know what I'm going to do with you" she groaned leaving.

Author's Note:

I hope everyone is safe, I know that this Covid-19 pandemic is getting a little crazy and worrisome but if we all work together to provide and protect one another then the spread of the virus will decrease. A lot of teenagers aren't taking it seriously (I for one am not but I am in no way going out partying) and it's risking a lot of adults lives so if you are one of them, know that you are a carrier.

You may not get sick but the more you are around sick people the less immune you are and the more you're going to be risking your health along with any adult that you live withs health.

Anyways, what do you guys think about schools shutting down? Any seniors out their worried? I know I am, I finally get to graduate and it looks like I may be in school for another couple of months. It's going to be a little tricky for those going to college, every state needs to agree on the school/graduate topic otherwise those in Florida graduating may be ahead of those in Kentucky or Tennessee (just an example, I know Florida wants parents to choose what to do about their kids education and in Tennessee so far there has been no update).

I know some people are going to different states for college and that really does affect them being a "year behind" where they are suppose to be.
