"NO!!" I sat bolt up right in bed, my chest wet as my body broke out into a cold sweat in the darkness. I was panting furiously from my sudden wake from the nightmare of being attacked at the back of a club.
I turned the lamp on whilst trying my hardest not to cry but I had been nastily frightened by my sleeping mind. I couldn't handle going through the attacks in real life and now they had begun in my dreams. I just wanted Marshall to hold me, bring me some comfort led at the side of me, being on my own in this huge house was no good for my nerves in the current state I was working myself into.
I turned the light back off and wiped my face, breathing calmly to try and get myself back off to sleep being that it was twenty-to-five in the morning. I needed to get back to sleep, Marshall was home today, I need to make sure I wasn't tired for his return in the late evening.

"NO! No!!" My voice woke me, but as my eyes opened my heart stopped and I properly panicked seeing a figure stood over me!

"Baby its me! It's me!" I consciously woke from the sensation of my face being touched. Instantly I teared up at the unsuspecting sight and smell of Marshall which overwhelmed me, right away he protectively tucked me up into his arms. The black out blinds literally had the room in complete darkness until Marshall turned on the bedside lamp,

"Oh my god" my relief was obvious as I cried a little, I sat up,
"You're.. you're home?"

"Yeah I got a direct flight soon as we wrapped up the last show, what's wrong with you?" He looked me up and down as he stroked my hair, I didn't say anything, I just lovingly cradled him,

"What time is it?" I mumbled against his shoulder, he comfortingly rubbed my back up and down,

"It's just gone 12 noon. This ain't the welcome home I expected"

"I've had a bad dream, I think it's.. I'm not used to being alone I guess"

"You missed me then?" He kissed my cheek when we actually looked eye to eye for longer than a minute,

"Yeah.." I looked at him like a lost puppy, I couldn't believe he was home! We kissed again,

"So, what I miss?" He got off the bed to take off his jacket and trainers, I watched his every movement,

"Nothing, you've only been gone for two days"

"Yeah well..." He jumped back into bed, cuddling right up to me making me smile like an idiot as we laid down,
"I don't believe you. Here, lay on me" he put his arm around me and snuggled me onto his chest, hearing his heart beating was so comforting as we settled...

"Honestly you've not missed a thing" my voice fell soft,
"But I've missed you so much" I closed my tired eyes,

"I've missed you more than I'da thought"

"You're lying" I grinned as his hand was gliding gently back and fourth along the top of my arm, this feeling was indescribable, laying here, with me, feeling him, smelling him,

"Yeah. Ay your friend was at my show, I spotted her up front"

"Karlie?" I looked up at him,

"Yeah the blonde, pretty sure she flashed too"

"You what?" My eyes grew wide,

"It's cool, you got the best pair for sure" he touched my chest,

"Ey!" I laughed,
"It's not funny if she flashed you? You're my partner, she's my best friend"

"When I got you ain't no broad gonna get a look in from me. Yo but Proof said he hooked up with her again, back at the hotel"

"What? She's not said a thing to me? Did she introduce any friends?"
