"Do you wanna come on the school run?" Nathan shrugged on his coat, I was leant against the kitchen island reading the newspaper that was stuffed full of news on Kim, dragging Marshall's name along for the ride too,

"I dunno do you want me to?" I looked up,

"Do you want to?" He questioned back,

"Yeah sure. Gosh have you read this?"

"Oh about Kim? Not much, why?"

"Here it says, upon hearing the news the distraught rapper fled to Kim Mathers house fearing for her life where he hopeless waited on her return until it was evident she was not to return so left the family home in the early hours with his daughter and adopted niece... that's not what happened at all what a load of bullshit, and I was there the whole time, it was me who took the girls into the car for us to take home"

"Oh trust me Jodie half of the stories that are printed up you wouldn't believe. There was a local news story that tried to say Marshall was force feeding me weed and cocaine with his 'rapper friends' and that the CPS feared for my welfare all because I was caught on a picture leaving the studio with Marshall, Fif and a few others"

"You're joking?"

"Nah. And that ain't even half of it"

"Wow. It's so bizarre how they can completely fabric a whole story just on one tiny truth or photo isn't it? I mean this stuff is so believable to the outsider, this story here I'd of totally believed if I wasn't involved. And it makes me look like I'm being cheated on, makes me look stupid"

"Only to those who don't matter, I mean, those who really know and care about you or my brother know just how happy you both are. Honestly Jodie, I ain't ever seen him so happy"

"That's music to my ears, it really is, and you're right Nate, those who matter know the real truth. I'll just go and get my coat." I went to go and get it,
"Oh I can drive, would you like me to drive?" I asked before I got to the alcove leading into the hallway,

"You got a car here?"

"Nope, but your brother has" I opened the key cabinet and took a key,

"Which are you driving?" He looked at me oddly,

"What do you mean?"

"Well he's got the Cadillac Escalade, or the Hummer, he's gotta purple mustang too but he's just auctioned it"

"I only thought he drove the SUV. I've got the key for that so.."

"Personally the hummer is the all time dopest, I mean that car is fucking cool" he hyped as we took the exit out of the front of the house, I followed Nathan around to the garage,
"Press that button thing on the key fob" I did as he instructed and the garage door began to levitate, revealing the cars, impressive, and super shiny too,

"Wow that is hugeee" I grinned at the big black hummer, why on earth had he not shown me it, it was beautiful!

"I want it when I can drive, it's powered by a 6.0-liter V8 engine and has a six-speed automatic transmission. It's got 8-way power front seats and a BOSE premium sound system. Marshall took me out in it once, I think it's more of owning a hummer rather than loving the car, he likes the escalade way more, dunno why"

"Jheeze you know a lot about your cars, how old are you?"

"17 Marshall said as soon as I'm 18 he'll let me drive it, says I'm too young to handle a machine like that"

"Oh I see. Well I'm sure he could put you on the insurance?" I pressed a button on the car key and the lights flashed as it unlocked, Nathan laughed at my suggestion,
