I was carrying my coffee around as I wondered out of the kitchen still in my bed shirt and socks, I'd woken up surprisingly early. As I walked through the entrance foyer the doorbell loudly rung, I squinted my eyes at the sound and went to go and answer it,

"Sign here M'am" our private delivery man smiled at me,

"Is it for me?" I took the pen off him,

"Sure is" he then handed me a large YSL bag with a wide rectangular box in it,

"Thank you" I smiled and closed the door. I excitedly skipped into the living room, what on earth was it!
I finished my coffee, put down the empty mug, slid out the box and laid it upon the sofa,

"Ay it's come" I looked up at the sound of Marshall's voice,

"Is this from you?" My smile turned into a huge grin as I took the fabric of the silk bow between my fingers and pulled it loose,

"Could be" he shrugged and cooly walked into the room. I took the lid off the box and pushed aside the ruffles of fancy tissue paper, a beautiful pastel pink fabric hit my eyes,

"Oh my gosh..." I lit up as I pulled out thee most beautiful floor length gown, pink wasn't really my thing but it was so pretty,

"It's for tonight, we're kicking off a pre-launch party for Obie, so thought you might of wanted somethin' new"

"Or your feeling guilty about un-engaging me"

"No" he jumped to the defensive,

"Chill out, I'm joking. It's lovely and... I love it Marshall, thank you" I hugged him, he let out a little sigh of relief which skimmed past my ear,

"You gonna go try it on then?" I could tell he was already picturing me in it as I held the dress against my body,

"Not yet no" I cheekily smiled and folded the dress back into it's box,

"For the money spent I think I deserve to see it on"

"No: It'll ruin the surprise, don't be so spoilt"

"Don't be spoilt?" He stepped to me and tried pinching my bum but I moved quickly enough to avoid it,

"Stop! C'mon!" I laughed as I dashed away from a sofa cushion that he pelted at me,

"You better run your ass up them stairs and get that dress on"

"I said no. Anyway, don't you have to be somewhere?"

"Yea I gotta go for a workout, I need to start getting in shape before I hit the road"

"Mhm" I looked at him with an agreeing smile,

"What's those eyes for?"

"Well all the takeaways and beers are starting to.. pay off"

"Are you sayin' I'm fat?" He comically said with his hand on his stomach,

"I'm just saying that you're not maybe as in shape as you was when.."

"When we first met? Damn hurt my feelings" he pretended to cry,
"You hurt me real bad" he put one hand in the air and the other over his eyes as he walked away, he was such a goof,

"FYI shedding tears won't help you lose those pounds!" I shouted with a smile as I put the box back in it's bag,

"Ay, but real though..." Marshall came back into the room,

"Yes?" I picked up the bag,

"Come with me"

"Come with you where?"
