"Kayla hurry up!" I yelled at her through the bathroom door.
"Sorry Sarah, almost done!" she said.
Ugh! I hate mornings always in a rush, but I guess that's partially my fault. I always get up at the last minute and so I'm always in a rush.
"Kayla I need to take a shower. Now!" I yelled again.
The bathroom door opened and out came Kayla. She's really pretty. She has curly blonde hair, chocolate brown eyes, and let me tell you she has a nice body. She could get any guy she wanted, but the only problem is she doesn't want any guy.
"Gosh. Took long enough." I said.
" Well maybe you should get up early, instead of waking up at the last minute." She said.
"Yeah, well that's you not me." I said and closed the door in front of her face.
After I took a shower I got dressed an looked at myself in the mirror. People always said that my sister and me don't look alike, I mean we actually don't. Unlike Kayla I have curly dark brown hair, I also have brown colored eyes and I have a little bit of freckles. But the big difference is that she's the quiet one and I'm the loud one. But she wasn't always this quite, she used to be this loud-party-I don't-care-what-I-do type of girls. But she changed. I'll tell you more about that later. Anyways she's seventeen and I'm sixteen. We are really different in so many ways but what can you do.
After I got ready I went down stairs to the kitchen."Good morning." my mom and dad said at the same time.
"Good morning." I replied.
I sat down in my regular spot and ate my chocolate chip pancakes. Yum!
"Can I go to the roller rink after school with Jessica, Adrian and, Logan." I said.
"Ok" said my mom.
"Sure but remember you have to be home by 10." said my dad.
"I know and I will." I said.
"Kayla why don't you go out with some of your friends?" asked my mom.
"Umm. No I'm good." Kayla said.
"Come on Kayla. The only time you ever left the house is to go to school or to church." said my mom
"That's not true." she said.
"It kinda is." I said.
"Well first of all: you guys are wrong. And second: I have friends." she said.
"Really? 'Cause I don't see you with anybody at school." I said
"I don't know what to tell you because I do have friends you just don't see them." she said.
"Whatever." I said. Kayla looked at her phone and said "Come on Sarah or were going to be late for school."
She was already half way to the door when I yelled "Okay." We left the house and got in to Kayla's car which is a navy blue Ford expedition. Now personally I hate the car but she loves it and I can't really complain about it because she's my ride.
She turned on the engine and put on the Christian radio station on. Yeah you heard me: Christian. She is a major Christian. I mean my mom and dad are Christian too, they always wanted us to go to church but they never forced us. They wanted us to make the decision of becoming a Christian. Kayla converted to Christianity about 7 months ago but before that she was a party girl, just like me. I would remember us doing everything together, we were so close. We would tell secrets, gossip, and we would always go out with our friends. We would knew everything about each other. But then we slowly just stopped telling each other stuff. She got so caught up in church that I barely see her. Then we just stopped telling each other all together. It wasn't just me but her friends at school too, she just stopped hanging out with then then stopped talking them. She would say "hi" but that is about it. I'm not a Christian. I just don't think I'm cut out for it.
