I woke up to the sound of the shower running. I looked at my clock it said 7:00pm. I got up and saw my dad putting on his shoes and I remembered that today there was church.

"Hey dad, are you and mom going to Wednesday class today?" I asked.

"Yes we are." he said. He looked up and I saw that he looked really sad, but I guess going to church may be the best thing today.

"Um....... can I go?" I asked.

Shocked spread across his face because I was the one that will never go to church, except for when I was little. But then you grow up to be a teen, peer pressure, and everything else that the world offers you get sucked into it. They asked me to go before but I guess after a while they stopped.

The shock on his face left and a smile spread across his face. "Sure honey, they always have Wednesday youth bible study so you can come. But you should get ready it starts in 30 minutes and were leaving in 15 minutes.

"Oh okay." I ran to my room got my cloths and went to the bathroom to take a shower and get ready. I got in the shower and let the warm water infiltrate me. It felt so good against my skin.

I promised her I would go and I do intend to keep that promise. No matter what I do. She's so strong, confident, and wise. How can a person die so young? It still makes no sence to me.

I got out of the shower put on the clothes that I had picked out, which was jeans and a white tank top and over that I put on a black lace shirt, I put on my sneakers. I didn't even bother with the make up and my hair, right now I don't even care. When I got done it was 7:15pm. I went down stairs and saw that my mom and dad were waiting for me. They got up when I came in.

"Ready to go?" said my dad.

"Yeah." I said.

We got out of the house and into the car. The church isn't that far away it's only like a 10 minute drive, but for me it was on of the most agonizing 10 minutes in my life. I haven't been to church in a long time and my parents have been to this church for a long time. They like this one and don't plan to leave. I don't really know what to expect. Will they accept me? Of course they should accept me, right? Have they heard about Kayla? Did they know who she was? All these thoughts kept on going on my head when we pulled up. Its the same as I remember it was.

The church is not too small but also it's not that big either. They did have a big parking lot and a nice lawn in the front. The church was nice it had bricks all around the outside of the part where the temple was. The other part of the church was a cream color and it looked liked a hallway with rooms around it.

We got out if the car and went into the lobby of the church. Right when I walked into the church the atmosphere felt different, it felt happy, nice, peaceful, like home. The lobby walls were a cream color like outside but the shade was lighter. The floors were a tile that matched the walls but had a swirl design to them. There was a desk at the back of it like to keep the papers.

When we came in some one came out through the double doors on the opposite side of where the temple is. It was a man and he came in and immediately recognized my parents. He came over to shake their hands.

"Hello James and Amy. Nice to see you in the Lord's house once again." he said with a smile on his face. He shook my parents hands. He had on a blue button down shirt with black slacks on. He looked probably around his mid-forties. Black hair but had some gray with it. He also had a mustache.

"Thank you pastor Paul." said my dad.

"So where is my wise child?" said pastor Paul.

"Um.............. See something happen to her. Kayla had an accident." said my dad while my mom already had tears coming down her cheek ."She's dead. She died last night in an accident that her and my other daughter Sarah had. The car flipped into a canal. Sarah got out but Kayla didn't."
