Forever Changed

Chapter 5

Where Adrian lives isn't that far. From school it's only about 15 minutes, but from my house it's about 30 minutes.  He is what you call rich. He has an older brother named Troy. He is kinda similar to Adrian except the only difference is the eyes. Adrian has dark brown eyes, while Troy has a light brown eyes. Adrian also has a younger sister named Lauren. She is only 14 and she is very pretty. His mom is very nice. Her name is Rebbecca. His dad I only met twice. He is always out on business trips so they don't see each other much.

We went in the kitchen and found his mom making dinner. She was making baked chicken with rice, salad, and egg salad. She never makes a big dinner unless someone was coming over. 

"Hey Rebbecca." I said. Adrian's mom never liked that I called her by her last name. Says she feels old when people do that, so she said if I can call her by her first name. I didn't mind at all.

"Hey, sweetie. How are you?" said Rebbecca.

"Good. Smells good." I said.

"Good. I hope your hunger?" she asked.

"I'm actually hungry." I said surprised considering that I ate at the roller rink.

"I'm hungry too. In case you forgot about me." said Adrian.

"How could I forget my dumbest child." said Rebbecca. Adrian put a hand on his chest acting like it hurt him. "Ouch, you know mom that hurts my feeling." he said.

"You have feelings?" she asked surprised. I just stood there laughing.

"I can't believe you call yourself my mom." he said in disbelief.

"Oh you know I love you Adrian." said his mom coming up from behind him and kissing him on the cheek.

"I love you too." he said. I watched in amazement at how close they are. Wishing that I could be close to my family too. I mean not that I don't trust my family it's just that its hard for me to open up. With me growing up in a Christian family, they expect me to be the girl that they want me to be and me disappointing them and being the complete opposite is what they want, its kinda disappointing. I  don't want to be the disappointing girl in the family, but that's who I am, gotta live with that. Can't change who I am. 

"Hey, do you guys mind if you set the table up?" Rebbecca said.

"Yes mom, we do mind." said Adrian. I hit his arm. "Ow, for a small girl she sure can punch."

"We be glad to set up the table for you, Rebbecca." I said.

"See that's why I like her." said Rebbecca to Adrian, while she hand him the silverware and plates.

"Hey, I like her too." said Adrian making me blush. Adrian and I went into the dinning room to set the table. I grabbed the plates from Adrian and started putting them around the table. I looked up after putting the last plate on the table and saw that Adrian wasn't there. I looked around and saw that he was in the living room watching t.v. I sighed and went over there. 

I went over to him and sat on his lap. "Hey." I said in a sexy voice.

"Hey." he said.

"What do you want?" I said not really wanting to know the answer just wanting to fool him. Nobody makes the girl do all the work!

"You know what I want." he said.

"You know what I want?" I asked.

"What?" he said with a smile on his face. He's not going to be smiling anymore.

"I want a boyfriend who isn't lazy and can get his butt off of the couch and set the table." I said and pulled him up.

"Fine." he said and got up and went to set the table. I sat down at the couch and started to daydream, not that that wasn't normal to me. But I started to daydream about Kayla. I had been doing that a lot now, which is kinda weird but I can't help it. Then out of nowhere I got this song stuck in my head that I haven't heard in a long time. But it's Kayla's favorite song, I know that for sure. It's called "Blink". Its pretty catchy and soon it was my favorite song for a while, but that song triggered a memory. It was when it was the first time I heard the song and it defiantly wasn't the last time I heard it. Jessica and I was in my room and since Kayla's room was right next to mine we could hear the radio.
