The central ground of the city was decorated with flags and number of stalls were set up. There were puppet shows for kids and a parade was arranged by the people. The throne was also set up for the arrival of the royal family and soon they arrived. They were welcomed with great zeal. As they sat down, the parade started.
Arthur was standing when a hand gripped his arm and dragged him along. He was standing not being very conscious. When they reached the back of the ground in the streets the woman dragging him lifted her cloak.
"Alexandra" said Arthur surprised
"So I was right; that you had been lying but why" inquired Alexandra
"I do not..... Arthur was interrupted by Alexandra,
she said
"Arthur, do you recall that we were and still are connected by our souls. Before we met I had always known about you and you about me; then how could you think that your lying face could distract me from your heart".
"Alexandra... Arthur said in a sorrowful voice and then he gave up; he continued saying
"I tried my best to conceal me feelings; but I've miserably failed. I apologize for last night, I shouldn't have let you go"
"Then why did you" inquired Alexandra
"Oh dear, we have just met; I had a very different perception of our first meeting but these circumstances are just too much to bear. I have to explain my rudeness for last night when I want to confront my love for you" Arthur continued saying
"What has changed Arthur, let me know the reason" said Alexandra
"Alexandra you are a princess and I am a...
Alexandra interrupted him and staring in his eyes she said
"Arthur you are lying"
"Wow... he took a pause and said, I had only imagined our bond so strong. Very well, if you want to know; Prince James has fallen for you, he loves you and if I will continue having feelings for you it will be treason against my prince". Said Arthur
"I had no clue you were this ignorant. Arthur I am a princess, there are many who develop a liking for me but nothing happens against my will"... she paused for a second and said
"And my will lies with you"
Arthur was about to say something when she stepped forward and held his hand; she then looked in his eyes and said
"Look around Arthur, do you recognize these streets?"
Upon her asking Arthur looked around and was surprised, he said
"These are the streets..."
"Where it all begin" Alexandra finished his sentence
"The first dream I had about you; I saw you in these streets running in a beautiful wedding gown; you ran wildly towards that auditorium and then..." Arthur was saying in a delighted manner, when Alexandra said
"I sat in the last row and cried. There was not a soul in the auditorium; just some music instruments and then your face appeared, blurred it was; but you comforted me and I stopped crying".
"I always believed that we saw the same dream" Arthur said
"That was the first of the long list of dreams that we've shared and we were in these very streets. Arthur today we again are here. Let's celebrate our meeting, our story; let's rejoice Arthur" said Alexandra
Saying these words she gave him a cloak. He wore it. Completely lost in the moment with her and forgetting everything, he was ready to be with her. As the love had found its way out. She took his hand and went among the crowd that was dancing. In the center of them the two cloaked people stood.
"Do you remember that dream" asked Alexandra
"Of course I do" replied Arthur
"Which is the one that I am referring to" inquired Alexandra
Arthur held her hand and pulled her towards him; he stared in her eyes and said
"The girl saw the boy, the boy saw the girl; they both came closer and..."
"And" said Alexandra in a soft voice
Arthur pulled himself away
"This is not what happened next Arthur" Alexandra said
"This is wrong Alex, we can't be like this" Arthur said
"Like what? We have been in love since four years Arthur, our physical forms never met but our hearts were united" debated Alexandra
Arthur looked confused, he looked here and there and then he pulled her towards him.
And they both embraced each other. Tears falling down their cheeks of happiness, pain, love, contentment and gratitude; that they had finally found each other. The love that had been buried in their heats since past four years, initiated with a dream had finally found its other half. The confession was done and the two souls were happy as a child.
The embrace did not last long as a familiar voice was heard. Both of them walked away. This was the bitter reality. They had to fight a number of people to make it possible for them. Arthur's eyes were saying I told you, it is not possible however Alexandra's eyes were firm, saying I would make it possible.
