It was a fine evening, King and queen were taking tea when Alexandra approached them.
"My daughter it is so good to see you" said the queen happily
'I've come to converse about the marriage proposal of prince James" replied Alexandra
"And" asked the king
"I have three conditions. If you accept them, then I assure you of my willingness upon marriage". Said Alexandra
"And what are the conditions, may I ask?" replied king
"My first condition, my king is, that even after marriage I will enjoy the same status in this state and I would be allowed to work for the good of my people.
My second condition is to have a representative here, whom I could converse about the legal issues and the new and existing systems that I govern.
My third point is not a condition but a decision that I've made. I will after my matrimony with prince James would never come to Gardenia, however the carnation ceremony of my younger brother would be attended by me." Alexandra stopped
The king and queen were astonished and shocked upon her third point. The queen was worried however the king said
"I accept all of your conditions".
"My king" the queen was about to say something when Alexandra interrupted saying
"I'm grateful my king" with those words she left.
The queen worriedly looked at Alexandra then at the king and said In a furious manner
"How could you accept all her conditions without even thinking or consulting for a minute"
"Armenia you may have your doubts about me, but I am certain that Alexandra is currently upset and later on she will be grateful that we insisted on this proposal. It is beyond the realm of possibility that she will stop meeting us." Said the king
"Anderson you have become unrecognizable to me. The father that lived in this king is lost now and I'm saddened by your behavior". Replied the queen in a very sad manner, also saying this she left. She didn't thought of it fruitful to debate with King upon this matter. As this topic had changed his behavior, his attitude and moreover his loving nature.
King asked for seargant Bruce. Upon him coming, king said
"Ask for a letter to be written to the king and queen of Queensland, inviting them to Gardenia; also mention that we request their pleasure for the marriage ceremony of Prince James and Princess Alexandra. And if we have their will, we will have the engagement ceremony upon their arrival".
"As you say my king" seargant said and left for the completion of order.

A few days passed, Alexandra started to come out of her room, and practiced in her palace; however she still avoided much contact. King Anderson received the approval of King and Queen of Queensland. The letter brought king great satisfaction however Alexandra was dying inside. She could not stop anything and was in deep pain seeing the preparations and arrangements made for the royal guests.
