Teacher: You know the drill, right?
Me: None Of us do.
Teacher: Well, I've chosen a few of you to be on stage in front of the rest of us. So the list is... Mario and Meggy doing a duet and Naranja doing a solo performance.
Me: Welp... if SMG4 were here, you know what he'd say.
Literally everyone except me:
Me: Let's not! Please?
Teacher: All right now. Let's not make him mad. Now, you're song is going to be one you know that you can sing, and well it should be.
Me: Good.
Luigi: What about the rest of us?
Teacher: Well... how do I explain? The ones with the voice are the ones to sing.
Me: Everyone has a voice.
Teacher: Well... some just don't know how to use them yet.
Me: Makes sense to me.
Teacher: Well, it's only for the specific names I called. Anyone else can HELP find the right song for the SINGERS that's NOT on the list of people I called. Good luck to all of you.
Boopkins: Orange? Can I help you?
Me: Why not. No anime, though. I'm not really a weeb.
Boopkins: Alright. I'll help.
I sat down at one table with Boopkins and Bob. The rest of the group was with Mario and Meggy.
Boopkins: So... what do you sing?
Me: I grew up with country music.
Bob: DeAr LoRd! It'S TeRrIbLe!
Me: F*ck you, Trash bag.
Boopkins: Lets not start.
Me: He's being a c*nt.
Bob: ScReW YoU AnD YoUr MoThEr!
Me: My mom's an angel in the ground, Bob. She passed away because of cancer. The only reason I sing country music is because I feel close to her when I sing.
Boopkins: I didn't know that your mother had passed. Bob, we should probably stop arguing about this.
Bob: YeP.
Me: So... what song do you want me to sing?
Boopkins: Anything you'd like to.
Bob: YeP.
Me: We'll go with... I don't know. I'm asking you guys about it. I can't decide which one. There all good.
Boopkins:How about Even Though I'm Leaving?
Me: Luke Combs? I might.
Bob: I'm SoRrY.
Me: apology accepted.
Boopkins: Well... Yours?
Me: Dustin Lynch. Good artist. Jon Pardi?
Boopkins: Maybe. Any Rascal Flatts?
Me: Maybe.
Boopkins: How about Jon Langston?
Me: Where Heartache Hangs Around. That's one of my favorites by him. That's up top.
