"We need a plan."
The silence at the dinner table was deafening. Candy fidgeted in her seat while glancing up curiously the usually noisy group of men. Luhan sighed as he quietly placed the large bowl of soup on the table.
"We'll wait for Suho shi's father to make the move. He'll definitely take this chance to try to get to me."
Kim Jun raised a brow before glaring at Luhan.
"Is this safe to eat?" he asked snarkily. "I don't want my son to be poisoned!"
"We start a fight - to show we are divided."
Suho slammed his glass of water down on the table.
"Father, I've already told you Luhan is innocent. The only suspect is the young gold digger sitting by your side!"
Candy gasped as she teared up.
"SUHO!" Kim Jun growled at his son before wrapping an arm around his fiancé.
Kyungsoo sighed.
"Suho, I know we are all tensed by what has happened. But I don't its fair to blame Candy like this."
He gave a small smile to Candy who looked surprised that someone had defended her.
"Some of us need to take side with Candy - To gain her trust."
Baekhyun raised his hand. "If I choose to side against her, can I insult her?"
"Baekie hyung!"
Baekhyun snorted.
"How do you know it wasn't her, Kyungsoo!"
Kyungsoo sat up straight, his shoulders squared.
" How do you know it was?" he challenged Baekhyun.
"..."
Kyungsoo smiled, almost victoriously.
"Exactly, there is no proof to say Candy is a suspect just like there is no evidence pointing to Luhan as one"
Chanyeol bristled.
"It wasn't Luhan!"
Kai sighed.
"We know that, hyung. I don't like Candy but I think she's innocent too."
He gave a small smile to Candy who sniffed pitifully.
"But it wasn't me either."
All eyes turned to Luhan who stood near the table, holding the pasta dish in his trembling hand.
Xiumin smiled at him.
"We know that Lulu -"
Luhan glared at him as he placed the dish down. He pointed a finger at the shocked Candy.
"It's her. I'm sure it's her!"
"Lu, calm do-"
"How can you take her side?" Luhan yelled, tears streaming down his face.
"If you think it isn't her, then you think it's me!"
Kyungsoo glared at Luhan.
"I didn't say that Luhan." His tone took on a warning manner.
"You insinuated it."
"Luhan. Stop" Chanyeol pleaded.
Luhan glared at Kyungsoo. They turned to Baekhyun when he stood up next to Luhan.
"Luhan has no motive to hurt Suho. SHE does."
"I disagree." Chen interjected, sighing tiredly as he pinched the bridge of his nose.
