Suho stared at his ceiling. It felt good to be home. He hissed in annoyance more than pain when the intravenous plug in his hand brushed against his comforter as he sat up. It's been two days since he came home with 2 boys who declared themselves as his bodyguards.

The younger one, Sehun was way too sassy. But even Suho had to admit that the medical student knew what he was doing. He had planned out Suho's schedule for therapy, examinations and his medications. Suho refused to acknowledge that he was slightly intimidated by the younger man which was why he complied with the strict schedule.

He never thought his home would be this noisy every day; Especially with Baekhyun taking every opportunity to squabble with Sehun. Suho kept telling himself that he didn't like it. A knock on his bedroom door pulled him out of his thoughts.

"Come in."

Luhan peeked around the open door and walked in carefully holding Suho's breakfast tray.

"Good morning, Suho Shi!"

Suho just grunted. He watched as the boy carefully brought the tray, frowning in concentration so as not to spill anything. He had been shocked when he had regained consciousness, only to find Luhan sleeping on the side of his hospital bed.

Suho's eyes fluttered open as he shifted his body slightly, slowly rousing himself from sleep. His head felt heavy and he was slowly becoming aware of the pain radiating from his shoulder. Memories started to return to Suho. He groaned as he remembered how he literally flew through the air before landing hard on the concrete ground. He peered at his shoulder.

"Must have broken it." he muttered to himself.

He realised his ribs hurt too when he moved. He groaned again as he laid his head back.

"Why now?"

There have been a number of attempts on his life before. Far and in between. They never found the culprit. His father hadn't really cared saying it was normal for rich kids to be targeted by jealous people. Suho had restrained himself from pointing out to him that the people trying to kill him were most likely to be his enemies. He had felt hurt that his father never showed him any concern for his well-being. It was during those times that Suho missed his mother more.

A slight movement next to his bed caught his eye. He realised that a slim figure was slumped next to his bed. The figure was sleeping in an uncomfortable position sitting in the armchair with his head resting on the bed next to Suho's elbow. It took him a minute to realise it was Luhan. He studied the sleeping boy's face taking in the dried tear tracks that meandered down the sleeping boy's face and the slightly reddened nose.

"He cried for me?"

The thought tugged at Suho's heart. He reached out to touch the dried tears on Luhan's face forgetting his injured shoulder.

His grunt of pain had startled the younger one awake.

"Hyu...Suho shi!"

The boy had stood up to lean over him. Luhan's eyes were full of concern and worry.

"Are you ok? It hurts too much? I'll get the doctor!"

Suho watched as the latter hurried away, not waiting for an answer from Suho. He lay back on his pillow ,feeling irritated.

"Yah! At least let me answer if you ask me questions, idiot!" he muttered to himself as he waited for the Luhan to return with the doctor.
