On the jet ride back they were accompanied by a woman and a little girl. Krissy didn't ask but she had a feeling on who they were. The woman didn't seem upset at all and actually a little smug as she smiled and video chatted with her sister or whatever, but the little girl was heartbroken and cried silently.
Krissy was overcome with a great sense of guilt and she couldn't pin point why as she touched the side of her face with a shaky hand before looking at her fingers. They were clean.

"You know, your fashion sense isn't so bad but...What are theses brands?" Krissy let out a breath as Isabella talked on and on. She didn't think the woman had taken a breath since she somehow talked her into 'hanging out'. "It's almost as if these aren't name brands." The woman squinted at the brand label stitched the back of one of Krissy's skirts.
"That's because they're not." She answered as she searched thru her drawers for a bathing suit. They were going to swim at the pool or rather she was, Isabella had said something about getting a tan. Krissy honestly would have never answered the other woman's insistent texts if she hadn't needed a distraction. But here she was...
Isabella scoffed. "Why would you have a closet full of generic brand clothing?" She suddenly gasped. "Don't tell me Bryce is cheap!" Krissy would have thought she was joking if she didn't resemble such a fish out of water. She sounded truly frightened at the mere thought.
Krissy rolled her eyes as she looked back at the olive skinned woman. "No, I just thought this stuff was...cuter." The honest answer would be she never felt too comfortable using the money 'left' to them by Maria and Bryce 'earned'. She still shopped obsessively but it would be odd for her to spend more then maybe eighty dollars a trip. No one had ever complained about or noticed before.
Isabella turned her eyes back to the skirt. "Well...it is cute but... I would just kill myself if I had to admit I wasn't wearing designer clothes. How much did this skirt cost, anyway? Fifty? Seventy-five?"
Krissy smirked, looking for to throwing the other woman through a loop by something so basic. "I got it on sell at Belks for fifteen dollars."
Isabella dropped the skirt as if it burned her as her dark eyes went wide. This made Krissy laugh genuinely. "You're kidding!"
Krissy shook her head. "Nope, I'm as serious as Bryce." Her smile slowly faded as Isabella bent and picked up the skirt as if it were a dead frog. "Which brings me to my next way of disappointing you... he is not here." She said bluntly, letting the other woman know that she knew why she was really there. "He left early and probably won't be back until late."
Isabella certainly did look disappointed but she wiped the look from her face quickly and raised her chin. "I am not here for your brother," Krissy smirked lightly for a couple of reasons, "I came to hang with you. We had fun last time we went out right? I thought that meant we could be friends. You don't seem to have many."
"Right." Was all Krissy said. Isabella seemed not even a little bothered.
"Anyway, which reminds me. How did it go with the guy who asked for your number? He was a hottie, so spill!"
Krissy was a little annoyed when the woman went and hoped on her made bed, wrinkling the comforter. She crossed her legs and leaned forward as if Krissy was about to pour out some juicy gossip.
Krissy didn't hate to disappoint. "It's not going to go anywhere...he wasn't the type of guy I go for anyway. Plus, apparently he has a couple of baby mommas. I would hate to be one of those." She shrugged.
