Shadowgun VS Lifeline. This should be exciting.

Shadowgun:To be honest, I kinda saw that one coming.

I also forgot to mention that Lifeline is separated from Montana and she only shows up when she's needed.

Lifeline:(She stepped out of a pink cloud, looking around until she found Shadowgun.)I'm fighting a child?

Phantom:You don't want to underestimate this child.

Lifeline:And why not?

Phantom:He's able to beat Drift.

Lifeline:Then this fight should be entertaining.

The next day, they all gathered in an abandoned warehouse in the middle of nowhere. For some reason, they thought it would be best to fight there.

Shadowgun:(He hadn't slept for some odd reason, obvious thanks to his tired expression.)It's too early to be awake and trying to fight.

Lifeline:You could always give up and go back to sleep.

Shadowgun:I don't even like sleeping, so why would I do that?

Lostit:Yep, sounds like him.

Montana:Enough talking. Get to the fighting already.

Shadowgun:For this match, there won't be a Pinzone.

Losoul:So how will that work?

Shadowgun:If either of us are pinned in any way, shape, or form, we're out.

Lifeline:Sounds pretty big for a kid.

Shadowgun:You'll regret calling me that lady!

Lifeline:We'll see.

Shadowgun and Lifeline got onto the top of the warehouse after a few minutes of warming up. They stood a football field's length from each other, waiting for Vantom's call.

Vantom:Shadowgun?

Shadowgun:Ready!

Vantom:Lifeline?

Lifeline:Ready.

Vantom:Start.

Lifeline:(She teleported to Shadowgun and kneeled in front of him.)Look, I don't want to hurt you, so do me a favor and lay down so we can hurry up and end this.

Shadowgun:(He looked pissed as he summoned his shotguns. Their barrels dropped to the ground since he wasn't strong enough to hold them up.)I agree with you on that last part.

Lifeline:(She stepped back a few yards before stopping dead in her tracks.)I'll make you a deal. If you can manage to raise even one of those guns and fire it, I'll give up.

Shadowgun gave her a death stare before attempting to raise the shotguns. After a few seconds, he stopped, took a deep breath, and raised them both with ease. They were aimed up and propped on his shoulders with his fingers on the triggers. He slowly walked forward with a red wall appearing in front of him. Right before he stepped through it, he fired a shot from each of his shotguns before letting them go. They floated in midair as Shadowgun stepped through the wall, turning back into his regular self. But he was in his Insight form.(Remember the one where his tattoos glowed and he didn't have his mask on? It was in the last chapter of Three Chances.)He was slowly floating towards Lifeline, who had stepped back about ten yards. His shotguns recalled themselves to his hands before he stopped in place. He aimed the shotgun in his left hand at Lifeline and shot her in her leg, dropping her on one knee. Then he aimed it at the other leg and shot it. So now, she was on both knees and completely helpless for some reason. He let go of the shotguns and they let off steam while floating for a few seconds before he grabbed them and made them disappear. He pulled out his sniper rifle(hope you saw the mini series)and pulled back the slide so that it was open. Then he ripped off a small piece of the warehouse roof and started eating it. After a few seconds, he spit a 150 caliber bullet into the slide of the sniper rifle. He pushed the slide back forward and aimed the barrel at Lifeline's head. Right before he pulled the trigger, he tilted the barrel down so that it was aimed at her chest. He shot the bullet into her chest, but it didn't just go through. It took her along for the ride, dragging her through the roof of the warehouse and through a cliffside. He dropped the rifle and went back to his kid form.

Shadowgun:She's pinned.

Vantom:(He looked at the cliffside and nodded.)He's right. Shadowgun wins.

Shadowgun:I might look like a kid...but I'm damn sure not one.(He got down from the roof and walked past the rest of the fighters, motioning for Losoul to follow him.)

Losoul:(He followed Shadowgun until they were out of earshot of everyone else.)What wisdom would you like to bestow upon me O' mighty one?(He was being sarcastic.)

Shadowgun:Your overconfidence is gonna get you in a worse spot than Lifeline is in. I suggest you fix it before I do. Because Lifeline is a girl, and I avoid hurting girls as much as possible. So imagine what would happen if you were in her position.

Losoul:What makes you think you could fix my overconfidence?

Shadowgun:Ask Lostit.(He walked back over to the rest of the fighters.)

Losoul:(He teleported to where Lifeline had landed and, as Shadowgun said, she was pinned to another cliffside by the bullet that Shadowgun shot her with.)Being a goddess doesn't mean shit if you get beat like that.(He helped her up.)

Lifeline:(She dusted herself off before teleporting back to everyone else with Losoul appearing a few feet away.)What was that? I know it wasn't you.

Shadowgun:Yes, it was. But keep one thing in mind:overconfidence is something you don't want to bet on. Because when you eventually get knocked off the high horse you rode in on, overconfidence won't be able to pick your ass back up.

Lostit:That's definitely true.

Stephan:That's one of the wisest things I've ever heard you say.

Shadowgun:Funny, I've never heard you say anything wise.

Stephan:You're never around to hear it anyway.

Hannah:Alright, chill out.

Phantom:That fight reminds me of 'Nam.

Lostit:Same here.

Ghost:Only thing it reminds me of is The Meltdown Of Merci.

Shadowgun:That's true.

Vantom:Shadowgun, you call Stephan kid all the time, right? So why does it bother you when someone calls you the same?

Shadowgun:All I'm saying is that I hated being a kid.

Insanity:Does it bring back memories or something?

Luna:It could be something like that, but I wouldn't know.

Phantom:As much as I hate to admit it, I can't see that far back into his past.

Shadowgun:Good.(His full-size chopper appeared as he hopped on it and drove off with everyone else following.)
