I went back inside the bar after answering some calls.
I'm not in the mood for vacation even only for the weekend lalo na it’s outside Manila. I had a busy week at wala akong ibang gusto kundi mag relax sa condo.
But Lara has been persistent to join our friends to the resort at wala akong magawa kundi pagbigyan siya. Ilang linggo na rin na wala akong masyadong time for her at bumabawi lang ako.
Naglalakad na ako papunta sa table kung nasaan sina Lara when I overheard the two love birds sitting in the bar, I can only see their back.
"Rick, you know that I love you. Right?"
"And I love you Toni."
Napangiti ako.
To have your girl remind you that she loves you, he's one lucky guy.
"It's Saturday night and you are still busy with business?" nagtatampo na salubong ni Lara sa akin pagkaupo ko sa tabi niya.
"I'm sorry, it was Karen. Nag confirm lang ng flight details ng guest."
I'm hoping if Victoria will stop being a brat and take responsibility in the company, at least my load will lessen.
Naiirita na naman ako every time naisip ko ang babaeng yun. I was expecting she'll show herself this week pero natapos na ang linggo na ni anino niya hindi nagpakita sa company.
“No more calls.” promised ko kay Lara sabay halik dito para matanggal ang tampo.
"Ladies and gents, please welcome one of our guest in the resort that is so kind to help me entertain all of you, the beautiful Ms. Toni!"
I heard the guests clapping when someone came up to the stage, yung iba sumusipol pa. Hindi namin nakikita ang stage from where we are sitting kaya nakikinig na lang kami
"Thank you guys, I'm not really a singer, I'm only a guest like you but we can't pay our bill so I have to do this. At ngayon pa lang, I apologize if your eardrums going to break sa boses ko. Pls don't blame me, blame the management for forcing me to do it.”
Napuno ng tawanan ang buong bar, kahit kami natatawa sa humor ng babae sa stage.
“If she’s beautiful as what the lady said then I don’t mind.” si Tony na single sa grupo.
