"We're moving?" Elvin asked. "I mean, Kristy is still healing, I mean she gave birth to three babies."

"I know," his mother said. "But we have to move out, your father and the others found out some men around this area, it's not safe anymore."

"Okay," Elvin sighed. "Than let's go to the obvious place," he said. "Home."

"Home?" She frowned. "You mean, that place where I almost died?"

"It's not the same," he said. "Kristy and I changed everything."

"Well," she sighed. "I mean, that's the first place they'll look, I'll talk to your father first; it could be a bit dangerous."

"Okay," he smiled. "I'll go and see if Kristy is packing."

He walked over to the tent; Kristy was with the babies. "Good, your here, I need you to help me with the babies."

He chuckled. "Okay."

"They are a handful," she sighed. "I mean, look at them smiling as if nothing, while I'm here suffering, and my breasts hurt a lot."

"Everything will be okay," he said. "Anyways, we need to hurry, and we'll depart before sunrise," he kissed Kristy.

"Okay," she smiled.

The next day, they woke up early and removed the tents and departed. "Get some sleep," he said. "The babies are asleep, so take advantage before they start to fuss."

"Okay," Kristy laid down. "Wake me if anything happens."

"I will," he said.

He looked at Kristy and smiled.

He kept his guard up in case someone was following them; he can't be too careful.

The whole ride, Kristy and the babies slept like nothing.

Along the way, he felt a pain, the same one that Bethy would inflict on him when she wanted to control him.

If he feels this, she must be nearby; he can't let Bethy get to Kristy and the babies. He looked around and saw no one.

"Elvin, what's wrong?" Zoey asked. She and Bryson were on the same wagon. "It's Bethy. She's trying to control you again."

"Yeah," he groaned. "Bryson, take over, please."

He and Bryson switch places. "I know how it feels," Bryson said. "That headache that never goes away unless you give in."

"I won't give in," he said. "I have been under Bethy's control for over a year, and that year was nothing but a nightmare. The only good thing that came out of that relationship is my son, and I intend to rescue him."

"I'm sure you will," Bryson said. "Get some rest; you need to sleep it off; if Bethy is near, I'll wake you up."

He leaned back and stared at the sky; he needs to push Bethy out of his head. He'll think of Kristy and their babies. It helped for a little bit, but after a while, it became unbearable. "It's like Bethy is trying to kill me or something. I don't know how much I can take it."

"Elvin," Kristy woke up and hugged him from behind. "It's okay; I'm here, Bethy won't hurt you. She will not take you from us."

He started to feel clam when Kristy hugged him. "You are my savior, Kristy. Your the only one that can help me overcome this."

"I know," she kissed his cheek. "I'll be here; I won't let anyone hurt you."

"Ugh," Bryson stopped. "Zoey, get them off me, they are going to make us drive off the road."
