In the morning, Kristy had a hard time saying goodbye to her little ones. "Be good to your grandmas, and don't cry too much." She kissed each one on the nose.

"Be careful," Melina said. "And don't let it control you, you are stronger."

"Thank you," she sighed. "Mom, don't cry, I'll be okay."

"I know," she sniffles. "Please be safe, and don't shift from your path, listen to Lucy."

She smiled. "Of course."

"Let's go," Lucy said. "We don't have time to waste, and along the way, I'll help you control that rage your holding in before it comes out."

Kristy nodded and kissed her babies again. "I'll be back with your father, and we'll become a proper family."

She left following Lucy; they'll walk instead of taking horses, something about not being detected or sensed by the enemy. She wanted to know more about Lucy.

"So, how will you give Kat her powers?" She asked. "I mean, Bethy must be keeping her body tightly, guarded."

"I'm an experienced witch," Lucy said. "I have my ways; I won't tell you because your mind is wide open for my mother to read but know that I will give Kat her powers."

"Okay," she smiled. "So came a long way?"

"Yeah," Lucy sighed. "When I heard my mother escape years ago, I was only a child I wasn't strong to go after her. So I study and trained every day to get at the level as her. And a year ago, my auntie Katherine was sent to capture my mother, but we never heard from her. We learned Bethy was working with the werewolves to control the rest of the main groups."

"Groups?" Kristy frowned. "There is a lot I don't know, so can you fill me in before you continue with your story?"

"Sure," Lucy smiled. "There are six groups, wolfs, vampires, werewolves, witches, lycans, and shapeshifters."

"Okay," Kristy frowned. "I know that."

"The lycans and shapeshifter weren't part of our world," Lucy said. "The first shapeshifter was found by my ancestors in a human village. As for the lycans, they already existed, but we found out years ago when one of them attacked us; then again, it was our fault for walking in on their territory. They are a strange race; only the males can shift; it's rare for females. Anyways back to the topic, these six races are powerful in their way. And my sister and that werewolf are trying to control them so that they can use them to kill the humans."

"I see," Kristy frowned. "All this to gain control and dominate the others."

"Mhm," Lucy tsk. "But there is a rumor that if all six clans have a special power, and combine is catastrophic. Then again, only one person from each has this unique ability."

"Oh," she bit her knuckles. "So, they're after power, of course, they are, but why all this nonsense with the experiments on people and turning them into monsters."

"To control," Lucy said. "You're a failure."

"Eh?" She glared. "I'm a vampire thought."

"That's not what I mean," Lucy sighed. "That part was a success, but giving birth wasn't. Bethy and that man expected you to give birth to strong hybrids, but that didn't happen. Your DNA split into three, and they don't know that. Aside from that, one of them is strong."

"How strong?" She asked.

"Strong enough to wipe out a clan," Lucy said. "One of your children might be one of the six people that possess great power. Perhaps I shouldn't have told you then again we can use this to our advantage."
