Authors’ note:
Remember Lillianna? Yeah, she hasn’t been mentioned in the last few chapters so I’m leaving you hanging off a cliff to check up on her. Your welcome!

Her short, choppy, brown hair gently waved in the cool afternoon breeze as Lillianna pocked her tanned head in between the bars, tired of waiting for a knight in shining armour she now knew would never come. Past fourteen and fed up with this prisoners life, she traced the stiches in her loosely hanging dress that she had made using rags as cloth, sharpened bone as needle and some braided string she had asked from Talon as thread. Sighing she sat down in the corner, with nothing to do but mentally prepare herself for what she had planned, and for what she hadn’t. Hearing heavy footfalls approaching her, Lillianna turned around and looked toward the sound with piercing eyes and hands on hips.
“You’re late.” She stated gruffly.
Talon huffed and shrugged.
“Do you know how long it took for him to finish the drink?” He questioned, tossing her the small vial that held the sleeping draught.
“Did he drink he drink it all?” She asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Um, yeah, I think so.” he stuttered.
“Look, this is important, did…he...drink…it...all?” She repeated yelling, through her teeth.
“Yeah, he always does,” Talon said bluntly.
Lillianna sighed.
“You better hope so, Keys…” She said, holding out her hand.
Talon tossed her a big, steel ring that had an array of keys attached.
“Let’s go,” she said, bluntly.
She took the lead, walking in fount of Talon; she went down the many tunnels of the underground cave that she had been imprisoned in. While she waited for the perfect timing she had studied and walked these tunnels, memorising them and looking for a perfect way out. Making it through the maze of catacombs, tunnels and caves she had come to a gate that Kai and Talon had put up, peering through the bars she saw Kai, snoring peacefully, asleep, but still, she had to be careful. Lillianna handed Talon the ring of keys. He regarded the steel ring in her hand and then looked at her, confused.
“Seriously?” She hissed. “Find the key that unlocks the gate.”
“Oh, um yeah, about that I don’t know which key it is,” he mumbled.
Lillianna was about to yell at him when she realised something. It was very, very quiet. Panic rapidly replaced the outrage on her face as she looked toward where Kai was sleeping. Talon opened his mouth and as quick as lightning she raised a finger in front of his face. Looking at Kai, she noticed he was now twitching and stirring; he mumbled something under his breath and rolled over, dropping the wooden, carved cup. About a quarter cup of green coloured fluid spilled out onto the cave floor.
“You…had…one…job.” She stated sharply, a fire burning in her eyes.
Talon winced as if the words had cut him. Kai stirred again, and slowly started to open one eye.
