Chapter 6 - Gaara!?

       He walked into the class, texting and walking at the same time because Kakashi kept asking if Lee was okay. He didn't see the red haired man that stood in front of him and accidentally ran into and flattened him.

       "I- G-GAARA!!" Lee shouts, standing and pulling Gaara up with him. He dusts Gaara off, who is standing completely still.

       "Hello, Lee...? I... Was wondering when I'd be seeing you..." Gaara says, raising a nonexistent eyebrow.

       "I am so very very sorry, Gaara-Kun! I swear I didnt mean to run into you!" Lee exclaims, bowing as deeply as he could. He looked up when Gaara started chuckling softly.

       "It's fine... I wasn't looking either. I guess we're both guilty. You're even more jumpy than when we met at the shop." Gaara says, still chuckling softly. Lee's heart jumped at Gaara's chuckling.

       "I-I was jumpy when we first met...?" Lee asks, not really wanting an answer but asking the question anyways. Gaara nods.

       "You got even more jumpy when my siblings walked in. They weren't welcome, but they do that all the time. Always when I have a customer. Guess that's what happens when you have family members that live close to you..." Gaara mumbles, turning his head to the side. Lee laughs.

       "That is okay. I do not have siblings so I don't understand, but I'm sure it's just like having very good friends." Lee says, posing with his thumb outstretched in front of him. Gaara tilts his head.

       "I suppose that is how it seems.... But they're very annoying." Gaara mumbles, looking at Lee. Just as he says that, the teacher walks in and class begins. Lee decides to sit next to Gaara this time. He usually sits next to this girl named Rose that is very nice. She has brown hair and green forest eyes. Lee really liked her, but to be honest, he really liked Gaara more. He talked to Gaara most of the class and didn't even pay attention—which his dads will not be happy about—to half the lesson. We were supposed to be listing five ways that we could get cancer. Lee had only listed one. He listed how cancer cells multiply during mitosis faster than regular cells, causing a tumor. He probably didn't get a good grade. Meanwhile, Gaara just doodled all over his paper. He drew spiders, cacti, waterfalls, and Lee could've sworn he drew a dick at one point in time, but it was just another fruit. When Lee first saw the drawing he gasped, but then calmed down. He was mentally kicking himself by then.

       When class ended, everyone stood up and grabbed their things and left at different times. Lee and Gaara walked out together, talking about their classes and such. Lee had mentioned that he wanted to play on the college football team, and Gaara had mentioned how he was in a drawing club that occurred at 6pm.

       "You ARE very good at drawing, Gaara-Kun. I never knew that someone who took care of plants could be so amazing." Lee says, waving his hands around as they walked. Gaara chuckles and shook his head.

       "I'm okay I guess... It's nothing too special..." Gaara mumbled, turning a little red. Lee gasped.

       "'Nothing too special'?! Gaara your drawings are the best I've ever seen!!!" Lee shouts, stopping and turning towards Gaara. Gaara raised a nonexistent eyebrow. Lee gulped and rubbed the back of his head. "I-I was just uhm...  You're really good... and it's good for you to be in a drawing club.... because you're probably the best..."

       "I'm nowhere near the best, Lee. I'm merely third." Gaara says, crossing his arms and putting all his weight on one side of his body. "You could come with me to the club tonight if you'd like. I could introduce you to everyone there."

       "R-Really?! I would love to go, Gaara-Kun!!!" Lee shouts, punching the air. Gaara smiles a soft smile and keeps walking. It takes Lee a moment to catch up with Gaara. "Hey, Gaara?"

       "Yes, Lee?" Gaara says, looking at him.

       "If I go to your club, then you must join me for dinner after." Lee says, smiling brightly. Gaara's heart jumps, but his face doesn't show it.

       "Alright... I accept. I will probably be hungry after anyways, since everyone there is too lazy to being snacks so we're all motivated." Gaara mumbles, shrugging. Lee's smile brightens.

       "THANK YOU GAARA-KUN!!!" He shouts as loud as he can, causing a few people to look at them. Gaara nods.

       "You're.... You're welcome...." He says, trying to at least hide his red face.
