Chapter 7 - The Club

R-o-c-k -- L-e-e P.O.V

Gaara-Kun came back to my dorm with me. He said he already had everything he needed for the club, so he'd just wait it out at my dorm. Obviously, Naruto was a little curious as to why I had brought Gaara back with me, but I told him the reason why. He just nodded then went to his room and blasted some loud music.

"Is your roommate annoying?" Gaara asks, mumbling while staring at Naruto's door. Lee shrugs.

"I cannot tell. I will figure out as the year goes on, though, correct?" Lee says, smiling at Gaara. Gaara nods, turning red once again.

It was five thirty and it took about fifteen minutes to walk there, so me and Gaara left. I thought about taking my car, but Gaara said it was okay to walk. He said he needed it, and I could tell. He barely had any muscle on his body. He had quite a feminine frame. He was also very delicate; like glass. Lee liked the feeling he got, but he also didn't like it. The feeling was strange. It was like Lee wanted to protect him at all times, and everytime Gaara even took a step, Lee would think he could break and crumble to the ground; Just like glass. That's how delicate and fragile Gaara seemed to Lee. Every once in a while, while they were walking, Lee would glance over at Gaara just to make sure he wasnt breaking or cracking. Lee could've sworn that Gaara had a crack on his cheek, but it was just Lee's imagination playing tricks on him.

They reached the building that the club was taking place in and they walked inside. Lee followed Gaara through winding hallways until they reached a door that had a bunch of graffiti and drawings all over it. Gaara opened the door and stepped inside, holding the door open for Lee. Lee walked in and looked around. There were a few people in the room that stopped and looked up at Lee and Gaara.

"Gaara. Finally." One said, standing up from a chair and walking over, "Is this your boyfriend?"

"No. Nowhere close, Shino." Gaara says, looking around. "Hey, where's Hinata? I thought she said she would be here today."

"She said her cousin was throwing a party and she was being forced to go." Another one said, not looking up from her drawing.

"Oh... Alright then... Anyways, guys, this is Rock Lee. Lee, this is the drawing club. This here is Shino, over there is Ino, Hinata isn't here today, but I'll end up introducing her if you come another time, Me, back there in the corner is Sai, and then last but not least," Gaara mumbles, "Sasuke.... I don't even know why he's in this club..."

"Well, Hello, Everyone! It is nice to meet you!" Lee exclaims, smiling brightly. Sasuke scoffs and looks down at his phone. Ino waves at Lee, then continues her drawing. Sai nods at him, then gets up and sits next to Ino. Shino yawned then sat down, playing with a little spider on the floor. Gaara informed Lee that Ino and Sai were dating, so he'd better back off before he got any ideas. Lee just nodded and gulped. "Very enthusiastic club..."

After the club ended, Lee helped Gaara pack up, and then they left. Lee started naming off a bunch of places they could eat.

"Is this considered a date?" Gaara had asked, looking at Lee, stopping him from naming off anymore places.

"I-I mean only if you want it to be...." Lee mumbled, turning as red as the red hair of Gaara. Gaara smiled fondly.

"Sure. I would love to call this a date." Gaara says, looking ahead. Lee just gawked at Gaara, not believing he actually felt the same way as Lee.

They had decided to go to a modern resturant that wasn't too far away from the campus. As they sat down, the waiter came by their table and was looking at Gaara very wistfully. This made Lee very mad, but he didn't say anything. The waiter took their orders and left.

"This place is very nice..." Gaara mumbles, looking around at his surroundings. Lee smiles.

"I'm glad you like it!" Lee exclaims, just as the waiter comes back with their food. He stares at Gaara until someone from a different table calls him over. Lee scowls.

"Lee? Is everything okay?" Gaara mumbles, staring at Lee.

"That stupid, perverted waiter keeps staring at you...." Lee says, still staring off in the direction the waiter went. Gaara looks at the waiter.

"I don't know why. He's probably just desperate. I wouldn't choose him over you anyways." Gaara says, picking up a spoonful of the soup he ordered and eating it. I turn red.

"Really, Gaara-Kun!?" I shout. He looks up at me and nods. I smile brightly. "Ahhhh Thank you!!"

"Mhm... You're welcome..." He mumbles, continuing to eat his soup.

I stare down at my food quietly. I'm kind of losing my appetite. I start playing with my food and end up making a heart out of shrimp. I gasped and turned my plate around for Gaara to see. I said his name a few times before he looked up and laughed at my little creation.

"Wow, Lee, you're quite the artist." He says, poking at the two shrimp I put together to make the heart.

"It only took me a moment to realize that shrimp look like tiny little half hearts!" I exclaim, laughing. All of the sudden, a hand reaches down and picks up one of the shrimp. They put it into their mouth. I look up and scowl. My eyes meet with the waiter's.

"Uhm... Excuse me..." Gaara says, looking up at the man angrily. "Arent you supposed to be a waiter? Why the fuck did you just do that?"

"Disgusting." The man says, before walking away from the table. Lee sighs and looks at Gaara.

"Another reason why I choose you over him." Gaara says, still scowling off in the direction of the man. Lee nods and stands up.

"Ehm... Gaara-Kun... I'll go pay... and then we can go back to campus..." Lee mumbles, turning and walking up to the front desk to pay.
