Chapter 8 - Interruption

R-o-c-k -- L-e-e's P.O.V

       I walk back to the table and gesture for Gaara to stand up and follow me. We leave not a moment later.

       "Lee? Did I upset you? You seem angry..." Gaara says, looking at Lee and frowning. Lee shakes his head.

       "I am just mad at that man back at the restaurant..." Lee says, crossing his arms and letting out an abrupt sigh. Gaara nods then continues looking forward.

       "Alright... Lee? Do you mind if I... Uhm..." Gaara's voice trails off and Lee turns to look at him.

       "Do I mind if you what?" Lee asks, wrapping his hand around Gaara's arm and stopping him. "Is something wrong?" Gaara blinks and looks to the side.

       "I... I just well... Do you mind if I stay at your dorm tonight...?" Gaara mumbles, crossing his arms after shaking Lee's hand off of his arm. Lee smiles.

       "Of course you can! Naruto told me earlier that he is staying at his new girlfriend's dorm tonight, so it will just be us!" Lee exclaims, grabbing Gaara's hand in his own and starting to walk. It was like Lee had gone from upset to extremely joyous in .01 seconds. Gaara smiles softly to himself and grips Lee's hand tightly.

       They reach the apartment and Gaara realizes something.

       "Lee I don't have any clothes for bed..." Gaara mumbles, crossing his arms. Lee smiles brightly.

       "You can wear my clothes!! Unless... You just want to sleep in your every day clothes or... nude.." Lee mumbles the last part, making Gaara turn as red as his hair.

       "L-Lee you pervert!" Gaara yells, punching Lee in the arm. Lee laughs painfully as he grips his arm and watches Gaara run of to the bathroom.

       "Gaara-Kun! I'm sorry! Please don't be mad at me!" Lee shouts after Gaara, hoping he wasn't upset. Lee walks to the bathroom and knocks on the door, "Gaara? Are you okay?"

       "Lee you pervert..." Gaara mumbles through the door. Lee laughs and rattles the door handle.

       "Gaaraaa! Pleeaasse! I want to talk to you! And not through the door! Please! Gaaaara-Kun!" Lee shouts through the door. Lee listens to the door as Gaara unlocks it and opens it to reveal his red face. Lee chuckles and wraps his arms around Gaara.

       "I'm sorry, Please forgive me." Lee says. Gaara scoffs and looks to the side.

       "Whatever.... Pervert..." Gaara mumbles, making Lee frown.

       "I am not a pervert! I just was suggesting things!" Lee shouts.

       "Suggesting things such as me sleeping nude!" Gaara yells, running out of the bathroom. Lee runs after Gaara.

       "I will show you 'suggesting nude things'! Get back here!" Lee shouts just as he catches up with Gaara, pushing him to the floor and getting on top of him.

       "L-Lee! Get off!" Gaara says, trying to push Lee away but he stays put firmly.

       "Never, Gaara-Kun. Keep trying to push me off and something might happen." Lee says, crossing his arms. Gaara furrows his nonexistent brow.

       "What do you mean by that?!" He exclaims, still attempting to get Lee off of him.

       "You asked for it Gaara!" Lee says, attacking Gaara's neck with bites and kisses. Gaara yelps out abruptly.

       Then. The stupid happened.. Naruto walked in. That moment.

       "I- DDAAAAMMMNNNN BUSHY BROWS!! GOT YOURSELF A.... A.... A man? Whatever. GOOD FOR YOU!! DAMN." Naruto exclaims very loudly. Lee's face turns red as he gets up off of Gaara.

       "N-NARUTO! I-I THOUGHT YOU... WERE AT YOUR GIRLFRIEND'S!" Lee yells. Naruto laughs.

       "Nah we broke up. I came back to stress eat, but I came back to something even more sad! I cockblocked you, Bushy Brows!! HAHAHAH." Naruto says, bursting out laughing.

       "Don't patronize me, Naruto!" Lee shouts, helping Gaara up and moving to the couch to turn on a movie.

       Meanwhile, Gaara was having mixed feelings. Embarrassment, longing, and a little happiness. He was embarrassed that Lee's dormmate, Naruto, walked in, he was longing for Lee's touch, and he was a little happy that Lee actually wanted to be romantic and lovey-dovey with him. It made him warm inside to think that Lee actually loved him.

       "Gaara-Kun? What movie would you like to watch?" Lee asks, smiling at Gaara while scrolling through Netflix.

       "Uh... Bird Box..." Gaara says, curling up. Lee looks back as Naruto goes back into his bedroom and then looks back at the tv and turns Bird Box on. Lee sits back and puts an arm around Gaara, pulling him close.
