Chapter 14 - Basic Date

        Lee was very surprised. Did Gaara really just....?

        "Seriously, Gaara??" Lee exclaims. Gaara nods slowly.

        "I can get lonely, too, you know." Gaara says, laughing. "Of course... You'll have to confront the administrator about it first."

        "Yes, of course! I'm so happy you'd share you dorm with someone like me, Gaara-Kun!!!" Lee exclaims happily.

        "Someone like you? What do you mean by that?" Gaara asks.

        "Well, I can be very annoying, I'm very much a morning person, and I don't know how to cook whatsoever." Lee mutters. Gaara smiles.

        "Opposites attract. Now, where would you like to go to hang out? I'm sure even the faint noise of Naruto's party will make you upset." Gaara says, thoughtfully looking at Lee.

        "Mmhm. We could just take a walk... I don't think I want to take you to a restaurant again after last time." Lee says, laughing nervously. Gaara nods.

        "That's okay." Gaara says, smiling just slightly.

        "There's a small park on campus that we can walk to and hang out at for a bit." Lee says, walking back out of the apartment with Gaara following him

        On the way, it was a pretty awkward walk. They'd walked for about thirty minutes with only silence and the sound of their feet before reaching the park. Lee smiled brightly.

        "We're here, Gaara!!" Lee says, laughing and literally jumping into a tree.

        "Lee what the-" Gaara starts, but then is interrupted by Lee slipping on the branch and falling out of the tree. Gaara's eyes widen and he runs to Lee, kneeling by his side. "Lee, are you okay??"

        "Yep! I'm awesome!" Lee exclaims jumping up and running around. Gaara stays at the ground and sits crisscrossed.

        "Two year old...." Gaara mumbles, watching Lee run around. Lee finally stops and sits next to Gaara. "You're not even out of breath??"

        "Nope!! I'm awesome, right!" Lee says, laughing and flinging himself back onto the ground so he's lying down.

        "I suppose..." Gaara mumbles, smiling and laying down next to Lee. Lee points up at the sky.

        "I'm not sure if you can see past the tree, but look at the sky and all the stars! Oh! The moon!!" Lee exclaims, laughing. Gaara smiles and lightly laughs a bit before noticing the there were grey clouds forming above them. Gaara's heart started racing as he sat up.

       "Hey Lee? Um...... C-Can we leave? Please?" Gaara says, staring up at the grey clouds. Lee sits up.

        "Why?" Lee asks, staring at Gaara. Gaara stands up.

        "Please, Lee..." Gaara mumbles, still staring at the sky. Lee stands up and grabs Gaara's hand.

        "Can you tell me what's wrong?" Lee asks, looking at Gaara with a worried look. Gaara looks at Lee and has tears in his eyes.

        "Lee... please...." Gaara says, holding Lee's hand tightly. Lee nods.

        "Alright, Gaara.. Let's go.." Lee says, pulling Gaara away from the park.

        Not a second later, it starts raining. Gaara yelped and started crying.

         "Gaara! It's okay, come on, there's a shelter house just over there." Lee says, picking Gaara up bridal style and carrying him quickly to the shelter house. Lee sets Gaara down on top of a table, but Gaara holds onto Lee and shivers violently. "Gaara-Kun... It's okay... It's only rain..." Lee mumbles, hugging Gaara tightly. Just as Lee had said that, there was lighting in the distance that was clearly visible to Gaara, which only made him shake even more violently. Lee sat on the table next to Gaara and pulled out his phone and some earbuds. "Here, Gaara, put these on and listen to music. It will block out the noise." Gaara slowly nods and grabs the earbuds and puts them in his ears. Lee gets on his phone and plays some calming music and then turns his phone off and sets it in Gaara's lap. He wraps his arm around Gaara and brings him close. "It's okay..."

        In a few minutes, Gaara was fast asleep, leaning against Lee.
