Chapter 13 - Talking

        When Lee found Gaara at last, Gaara was standing by his shop holding a small cactus. Lee drove up beside the shop and stuck his head out the car window.

        "Hello, Gaara! Long time no see!" Lee says jokingly. Gaara sighs and smiles while nodding.

        "Yes, it has been a while. I'm very sorry for not talking to you... I bet you thought I was mad..." Gaara says, smiling painfully. Lee nods and then smiles.

        "It's okay, Gaara-Kun! I forgive you! It was just my mind wandering to places it shouldn't be! Anyways, Get in and point me in the direction to go!" Lee shouts, pulling his head back inside the car. Gaara walks over to the passenger side and gets in, setting the small cactus in his lap. "It was quite relieving when you mentioned hanging out! Naruto is throwing a big party with a lot of college students back at our dorm and it was loud... And full of drunk kids... I had to get out of there!" Lee laughs.

        "Ah, well, that's Naruto for you..." Gaara says, laughing softly.

        "Anyways, Gaara-Kun, Where to?" Lee asks, driving away from the small plant shop. Gaara hesitates for a second and then speaks.

        "First I have to drop this cactus off at my dorm, then we can do whatever we want since I am free for the rest of the night." Gaara mutters, looking down at the cactus in his lap. Lee smiles and drives towards the dorms.

        "Alright!" Lee exclaims, happy that he gets to spend time with his love.

        When Lee pulls up to the dorm building, which is the same as his, unfortunately, he gets out and runs to the passenger side of the car and lets Gaara out.

        "What a gentleman." Gaara says, laughing softly, causing Lee to smile and laugh as well.

        "You know, Gaara, I honestly don't know why I forgot you were in the same dorm building as me... I can hear Naruto's music all the from here." Lee mutters, sighing. Gaara laughs.

        "Well, once I put my cactus up, we can go somewhere that isn't around Naruto and his loud music." Gaara says, walking into the dorms and going to the elevator with Lee following closely behind.

        They reach the room and Gaara unlocks it while Lee stands behind him and awkwardly listens to the faint sound of music and drunk college students. He is quite annoyed already that Naruto had thrown a party and not confronted Lee about it. He was furious that Naruto had thrown this party and brought alcohol to it. Lee was big on no alcohol. Last time he had any kind of intoxicating drink, he couldn't control himself and did some bad things. He was quite upset with himself.

        Gaara finally unlocked the door and he stepped inside, Lee following him into the room. Lee paused at the door and Gaara went off to who knows where to put the cactus up. The dorm room was incredible. The walls were white and so were the floors, but they were covered up with a grey carpet. There were plants everywhere. Lee didn't know you could have this many plants. He was quite surprised.

        "Gaara-Kun? Who's your dormmate?" Lee asks, still amazed at the cleaness of the dorm. Gaara walks out of who knows where and pauses at the end of the hallway.

        "Hmm.... Well... When my brother was in college, he was my dormmate, but then he dropped out. My older sister already graduated. It's just me, myself, and I." Gaara explains, shrugging. Lee nods.

        "Ah. You must get lots of rest and quiet time in this peaceful room!" Lee exclaims, smiling. Gaara frowns.

        "Well, yes, it's peaceful, but I'm not able to sleep, unfortunately. When my brother lived here, he would sit by my bed and talk to me until I fell asleep, and it usually worked, but now he's gone so..." Gaara says, mumbling a lot throughout his explanation. Lee feels a spark of worry in his heart.

        "That's sad, Gaara-Kun! If I could live with you and do the same thing, I would!" Lee exclaims. Gaara smiles.

        "Then why wait?"
