Chapter 9 - I Love You Intensely

R-o-c-k -- L-e-e's P.O.V

I wake up pretty early, maybe around four, to Gaara shifting a lot in my arms. I open my eyes a bit and see Gaara's eyes wide open.

"Gaara.....?" I ask, causing him to look up at me. (I had fallen asleep sitting upright with Gaara-Kun in my arms, tight!)

"Lee.... I... um..." He struggles to find words. I sigh and hug him tighter.

"Can you not sleep, Gaara-Kun? That's alright! I'll help you." I say enthusiastically.

"I haven't been able to sleep well since I was six years old..." Gaara mumbles, crossing his arms.

"Well I'm sure I can do something." I say, laying down and pulling Gaara on top of me slowly. Gaara tenses up for a split second, but then gets himself comfortable.

"T... This is actually pretty comfortable..." Gaara mumbles, turning a little red. I smile and rest my hand on his waist.

"Wonderful!" I say happily. It wasn't even a struggle for me to breathe with Gaara on my chest. He was very, very, very light. I wonder if he ate regularly... I shrug my shoulders. If he doesn't eat regularly, I'll have to punish him. Hmph.

"Hey, Lee....?" I hear Gaara mumble.

"Yes, Gaara-Kunn?" I ask, smiling brightly.

"I- Um... I-..... I.... L-L...... I love you...." He mutters, face hearing up intensely.

"OH MY GOSH I LOVE YOU, AS WELL, GAARA-KUN!!! I THOUGHT YOU'D NEVER SAY IT!!! I LOVEEE YOOOUUUUUUU!!!!!" I shout unexpectedly. Gaara jumps when I start yelling and he grips my shirt as I sit up and hug him tightly.

"SHUT UP, BUSHY BROWS. MY GOD! IT'S FUCKIN FOUR IN THE MORNIN!!!" Naruto yells from his bedroom. I blink and then realize I shouted that.

"Oh my... Whoops...." I mumble, looking at Gaara slowly. He's trembling in my arms. "Gaara-Kun I'm sincerely sorry for scaring you! That is just... um.... How I act when I am very happy! I shout a lot..."

"I think.... I-I caught onto that by now....." Gaara mumbles, laughing nervously.

"My point, is, Gaara-Kun, I love you very much! For the first time in forever, Gaara-Kun, I feel like I found the one!" I say, laughing and hugging Gaara tightly. He chuckles lightly, burying his face in my chest. I feel my heart explode. How can one human being be this adorable!? ToT I think to myself, shaking intensely from the cuteness. "Gaara-Kun, you make me so happy! Your adorable red hair... Your beautiful seafoam eyes... I cannot believe I ended up with someone... so... so... ADORABLE!! I JUST WILL NOT BELIEVE IT!" I shout, fake fainting and accidentally falling to the floor, causing Gaara to fall with me. He of course lands safely back onto my chest, but he shakes me lightly.

"Lee what're you doing??" Gaara says, laughing a little. I laugh as well and sit up. I grab Gaara's hand and realize something.

"Gaara-Kun..." I say slowly, making Gaara look up at me and frown.

"W-What is it... I-Is something wrong...?" He asks, a little worried. I raises up his hand and link my fingers with his.

"I just realized! Your hand fits mine as if it were made for me!!" I shout, causing Gaara to go wide eyed and turn completely red.

"And... this is the point you start throwing pick up lines... right...." Gaara mumbles, making me smile.

"Yep! Gaara-Kun, are you the sun? Because you're so beautiful you're blinding me!" I say. Gaara turns even more red.

"Here we go...." Gaara mumbles, making a face as Lee continues to tell Gaara pick up lines.
