Chapter 19 - Introduction

        Since the incident at the restaurant, neither Gaara nor Lee has mentioned it because both of them are afraid that the other is going to get mad. Lee was especially afraid since, well, this was Gaara's ex they had run into. It's not everyday that your crazy ex appears at a restaurant you go to and fights with your boyfriend... In the bathroom. Lee sighs, opening up his phone, still not seeing a single message from Gaara. Does Gaara-Kun not want to talk to me...? That can't be it... Well... I mean that would be something that would make me mad... But Gaara's my first boyfriend so I wouldn't know. I'm sure having a boyfriend like Gaara is the same as having a girlfriend, right? I would think so since Gaara is a very feminine man. Wait why am I thinking about this??? Lee covered his head and sighed.

        "Why was that what my mind went to?? I was supposed to be wondering why Gaara hasn't texted me today!" Lee said aloud. Naruto walked in and looked at Lee, leaning on the doorframe.

        "Whatchu worryin about, Lee? If it's somethin to do with your boyfriend I could probably help >_>." Naruto says, grinning. Lee looks at Naruto and sighs.

        "Gaara-Kun usually texts me right when he gets up... And he would've been awake by now." Lee says, frowning. Naruto snickers, making Lee frown even more.

        "Maybe he got tired of you. >_>" Naruto says with a kind of smart voice. Lee gets a worried look on his face.

        "Is that really what's going on??? Did Gaara get tired of me after all we've done together..." Lee says, putting his hands to his face. Naruto sits on the bed next to Lee and puts his hand on his shoulder.

        "No hard feelings, Lee. You guys haven't fucked yet, right? If you drift apart it's fine." Naruto says, shrugging. Lee looks at Naruto with a surprised look.

        "F-Fucked?? Like..." Lee says, starting to worry. He's never done... It... with a man before. He's only done it with his girlfriend from about a year ago. And he's afraid that doing it with her was what broke the relationship apart.

        "You're not going to go into deep thought about this, are you? Come on bushy brows, pull yourself together. Having sex with Gaara shouldn't be your top priority. Makin him happy should be." Naruto says, getting up and walking to the door. "I mean, of course you aren't..." Naruto looks around and then back at Lee, "... Leading him on, right?" Naruto grins, waves, and then goes back to the other room he was in. Lee looks at the ground. He started worrying so much that he didn't realize his phone had gotten a message.

        Then two, then three. And then his phone got a call. Lee looked up and finally realized his phone was being blown up. He picked it up and answered the call. "Hello?"

        "LEE are you okay? Are you hurt? Have you gotten sick? Are you alone?" Kakashi's voice rang through the other side of the phone.

        "Father? What's wrong? Is everything okay?" Lee asked, worried.

        "How have you not heard??" Kakashi said, "The virus outbreak?? You need to get home right now."

        "Wait so that's why my classes haven't been in session? Ohh.." Lee says.

        "Nevermind that! You need to get home right now." Kakashi says, sounding more tense than he usually does. Lee frowned and sighed.

        "Can I... Bring someone with me?" Lee mumbles into the phone. Kakashi pauses.

        "Who?"

        "My um... My boyfriend."

        "You have a boyfriend? Why didn't you tell me sooner? Of course you can bring him. Gai'll be very surprised." Kakashi says, laughing. "Just... Make sure he isn't sick or anything, okay?"

        "Oh okay... Well, Bye Father! I'll see you in a few hours." Lee says. Kakashi sighs.

        "Bye, Lee." Kakashi says, hanging up the phone.

        After the phone was hung up, Lee started to go through all the messages. Most of them were from Kakashi, but one was from Gaara. He eagerly opened the text.

        "Can you come over?" Was what the text read. Lee replied with, "Of course!" And he immediately left.

      
        Lee knocked on the door and after a few seconds, Gaara opened the door. Gaara gave Lee a soft smile.

        "You usually respond to my texts quickly. I was starting to get worried." Gaara says, inviting Lee in.

        "Yeah, sorry about that. My father called me. I have to go home." Lee says, scratching the back of his head.

        "Like... right now...?" Gaara asks, looking at Lee.

        "Pretty much... Yeah." Lee says, looking at Gaara with a sad look.

        "It's about the... virus isn't it..? My sister texted me about it, but she's not worried." Gaara says, walking to his kitchen. Lee follows him.

        "My father said I could bring you with me. Back to my house." Lee says, causing Gaara to turn and look at him.

        "Really...?" Gaara mumbles, looking at the ground. "You're sure.... he said I could go?"

        "Yep! He said that both him and my papa, Gai, would be overjoyed!" Lee says, smiling. Gaara sighs and smiles, looking back at Lee.

        "Alright... Do I need to take anything?" Gaara asks, mumbling and looking at Lee. Lee nods.

        "A lot of clothes, stuff you'd need on a daily basis." Lee says, still smiling.

        "Oh... Okay. I'll go get ready then...." Gaara says, going to his room and gathering up all his things. Lee looked around the kitchen, wondering what the delicious smell was that he smelled when he walked in. Gaara walked back out with a bag and Lee smiled at him.

        "You ready to go?" Lee says. Gaara nods.

        "Hold on..." Gaara says, walking over to the oven and opening it. He pulled out a small cake and wrapped it in seran wrap and placed it in the fridge. "Okay, now I'm ready."

        "Alright let's go!"

        Lee helped Gaara out of the car and walked up to the door. Gaara stood behind Lee awkwardly as Kakashi opened the door.

       "Lee! Welcome home!" Kakashi says, pulling Lee into a big embrace. Gai comes up behind Kakashi and hugs both of them. Gaara stands still, looking anywhere but them.

        ">_> So you're the boyfriend..." Kakashi says, walking up to Gaara and inspecting him. Gaara stands as straight as he can as Kakashi circles him. Gai looks at Lee.

        "You never told me you had a boyfriend >:0." Gai says. Lee scratches the back of his head.

        "Sorry, Dad..." Lee says, laughing nervously.

        "HMmmm... Do you do drugs? Vape? Do you love our son? What's your favorite color? What's our son's favorite color? When's his birthday? How old are you?" Kakashi says, eyeing Gaara.

        "F-Father! Stop!" Lee says, worried.

        "I don't do drugs or vape... I love your son very much... favorite color is red.... Your son's favorite colors are green and orange... his birthday is November 27th... I'm 19..." Gaara mumbles, looking at Kakashi and then looking at Lee. Kakashi nods and smiles.

        "Thank you and please take good care of our son." Kakashi says, letting the two boys enter the house.
