Chapter 17 - Damien.

        "Hello- Oh! Lee! I didn't ever expect to see you here!"

        "Huh- Oh! S-Sakura-Chan!" Lee exclaims, Eyes lighting up when he sees her green eyes and short pink hair. Gaara looks away from the beaming pink-haired girl and black-haired boy and instead faces the other way, which is a wall. This wasn't Gaara's talk, it wasn't his discussion, it wasn't his business, it wasn't anything for him to be concerned about, so he just didn't listen. He knew that by the way Lee looked at this 'Sakura' girl, Lee used to, or still had, feelings for her. Gaara sighed and stood up, and then walked away.

        Lee didn't notice, since he was too busy talking to Sakura. They smiled and talked. Lee complimented her hair and her complexion. She blushed and thanked him, and then got called from another table.

        "Oh! Lee, I'll be right back, I need to go somewhere real quick. I'll be sure to take your order when I return!" Sakura says, smiling and then running over to a different table. Lee smiled and then turned back to where Gaara was supposed to be.

        "Anyways, Gaara-" Lee starts, but is startled when he doesn't see his date in his original place. Lee starts to panic a bit. "Gaara?" Lee says, standing up and looking around. "Huh.... I... How did I not see him leave?" Lee thinks aloud to himself. Well, maybe he went to the bathroom. I could go look, but I have to order our drinks from Sakura-Chan. Lee thinks, sitting back down just as Sakura walks back.

        "Sorry about that, Lee-Kun. Now, what would you like to drink?" Sakura asks, smiling and pulling out a pad of paper.

        "A tea and Sprite!" Lee exclaims, smiling. Sakura writes the order down and nods, smiling.

        "Your drinks will be out in a sec!" Sakura says, waving and leaving the table to go back to the front desk. Lee smiles and leans his head against his hand. Ugh.... Gaara-Kun, where are you....

Meanwhile......

        "Stupid... Stupid... Stupid!" Gaara yells at the mirror angrily. He had a few tears running down his face, and he didn't know why. He was yelling at himself to stop crying, but he couldn't. "What is wrong with me...." Gaara mutters.

        "A lot." A voice says from a stall behind Gaara. He turns around and wipes his tears.

        "Who are you..." Gaara mutters, recognizing the voice but not pinpointing a face with it. Then, just as Gaara was about to ask the question again, his ex steps out of the furthest stall to the left from Gaara's view. Gaara's eyes widen and he backs up against the sinks. (We're just going to call Gaara's ex.... Damien. It was the first name that came to mind, don't @ me.) Damien steps forward and gives Gaara a smug grin. 

        "You already know, Gaa-Chan." He says mockingly. Gaara shivers at the name Damien used to call him when they were dating. 

        "Why are you always at every restaurant I go to." Gaara says, angrily. Damien smiles and chuckles. 

        "Because I want to be at every restaurant you're at." Damien says, stepping forward again. Gaara can't go anywhere since the sink is in his way, so he just keeps his ground and stares at Damien with his normal stoic look. Damien approaches until their noses are almost touching. "Now, don't think I haven't seen you around with that goddamn new boyfriend of your's." Gaara sighs. 

        "Of course... Now, what about Lee? Do you have a problem with me finally moving on?" Gaara says, obviously annoyed. 

        "Well... Remember when I said that, if we ever break up, you're not allowed to be with anyone until I come crawling back to you, Gaa-Chan?" Damien says, smirking. Gaara pauses. 

        "I didn't think you were serious.... But, it's already too late, Damien. I love someone else, and I will never go back to loving you." Gaara says, crossing his arms. Damien laughs.

        "Is it now, Angel?" Damien says, grinning a cat-like grin and throwing Gaara against the nearest wall and intensely slamming his hands against the wall that surrounds Gaara's head. Gaara was only about 5'5 while Damien stood at a whopping 6'0, which meant he basically dominated Gaara in every way, shape, or form. Gaara was basically powerless against Damien. This made him quite angry. Gaara didn't like getting thrusted against a wall like this, especially not by his ex. Gaara really wished Lee would just magically walk into the bathroom, see the situation, and stop Damien like he did with Naruto. Lee was really the only person that Gaara trusted that was in the vicinity, and he was probably still chatting away with that 'Sakura' girl. "So, Gaara, are you going to reconsider getting back with me? I'm quite lonely and I need something to fill the dead silence tonight..." Damien says, grinning that cat-like grin again. Gaara makes a face. 

         "You disgust me, Damien." Gaara says, turning his head. Damien immediately grabs Gaara's face and forces Gaara to look at Damien. 

        "I didn't disgust you before, Angel... Why can't we go back to old times?" Damien says, chuckling.

        "Because I hated 'old times', Damien. I hated them. I never want to get back with you, I never want to hear your name or voice again, and I never want to see your smug grin every again. Can't I just live a peaceful life without you chasing after me everywhere I go?" Gaara says, ranting angrily, which only makes Damien's smile grow bigger. 

        "That's the kind of energy I want, Gaa-Chan..." Damien says, licking his lips. Gaara shudders and makes an annoyed face. 

        "Leave me alone." Gaara says, trying to push Damien away. He laughs and stays put, staring into Gaara's eyes. 

         "Aw... Gaara... You still have the prettiest eyes ever. I remember the first time I looked into your eyes deeply... I thought to myself, 'Is this love at first sight?', and it was! Now, Angel, listen to me." Damien says while Gaara continues to try and get Damien away. "Come on, Angel, don't you remember what you told me? You love being topped..." Damien says, smirking. 

        "That doesn't apply to this situation! Go away! Leave me alone-" Gaara shouts, just before Damien puts a hand over Gaara's mouth and looks towards the door. Footsteps approach the door and then the door opens. 

        "Gaara- H-" A voice says from the door. Gaara looks over and goes wide-eyed and then starts crying while Damien snarls at Lee. 

        "Of course, here comes Mr. Hero to save the day. Begone. I'm trying to do something here. I don't need you interfering." Damien says, not removing his hand from Gaara's mouth for even a second. Lee stands his ground.

        "What are you doing with Gaara-Kun?? Step away from him!" Lee says angrily. Gaara, still crying silently, tries eagerly to remove Damien's hand from his mouth. Lee worriedly looks at Gaara, and then looks back at Damien with burning hatred in his eyes. 

        "Step away from Gaara." Lee says, stepping forward. "Or else."
