I know you.
I walked with you,
Across a deserted land of lost hopes and dreams.
I know you.
I pushed you,
To try new things you never thought of.
I know you.
I imagined us,
Living in a perfect little world.
I know you.
I spent 3 years,
Trying to figure out every missing part of you.
I know you.
I wished upon shooting stars,
Dreaming of a life greater then what we know now.
I know you.
I watched your every move,
In the strategy games you played online.
I know you.
I kept up with your diet,
Of soda fountains and candy hearts with chocolate memories.
I know you.
I blamed myself,
Every time something went wrong and you did to.
I know you.
You apologized,
For every one of our fatal flaws.
I know you.
The tears,
That streamed down our face every time we said goodbye.
I know you.
I watched you grow,
Into the man I so very love today.
I know you.
Every thing you said,
Not always having meaning but meaning something to me.
I know you.
Living in solitude,
Hoping someone will save you from loneliness.
I know you.
I miss,
The way you called me before bed to tell me I'm beautiful.
I know you.
I began to think,
That I would never pull you out of this coma.
I know you.
To well,
To leave you behind.
I know you.
The way you style your hair,
So that when it grows out its easy to cut again.
I know you.
I fell in love,
With your mind and all its inner workings.
I know you.
I keep a box,
Full of all our adventures together.
I know you.
Enough to clarify,
That we are in this forever.
I know you.
All of your body,
And all of your touch.
I know you.
In a sense,
I thought you could know me too.
I know you.
Well enough,
To love you.
I know you.
As much as,
You know me.
I know you.
Or at least,
I thought I knew you.
