Sunday morning came. And that means church. I really didn't feel like going, I just needed some time to my self. So, I acted sick.
Lenya didn't want to go either, neither did James, but my mother doesent play about church, I'm surprised she let me stay home! I felt kinda bad lieing on a Sunday but I just need to talk to Tika, or somebody while everyone's away!
So when everybody left, I called Tika. When she came I explained to her, "Listen Tika, you're my bestfriend. And I would never lie to You. But I really need Your support or advice,well you know my cousin James, well he's staying at us for a while but he, he told me that he wanted me last night and called me beautiful and stuff"
She just stared at me.
"Well, are you going to say anything ?" I asked
"Kenya, really? Not only did you lie to get out of church, but you are sitting right here in my face, and lieing to me! We have been through this before, cousins don't like cousins like that, it not normal and for you to just sit here and pin something on Your family member like that is foul."
Tears went rushing down my face. The person that I trusted the most is taking me for a joke.
"Okay Tika, It just.... it just hurts that you are not a good friend to me, you can leave. "
She got up
"Kenya, I'm not being a good friend? I just drove 11 miles to hear a bullface lie. You could have just told me that over the phone. But, I'll get out, get some help"
She stormed down the stairs and slammed my door and left.
How could my bestfriend for 7 years just diss me like that?
I'm going to be battling this war all by myself.
