Chapter 18

Elsa's POV
The Winter Formal was finally here. The day after Jack asked me Punzie, Merida and I went shopping to get dresses. Rapunzel got asked to. By Eugene! Merida didn't have a date, but she didn't really care. I made the stupid decision of getting ready and hour before the formal. Leaving me with nothing to do but sit so I wouldn't ruin my hair. Anna had gone to Ariel's for the night so I couldn't even talk to her. The house was a bit creepy at night when you're alone. I'd never noticed it before. I'd been daydreaming for literally an hour and when the doorbell rang it scare the absolute shit out of me. I got up and opened it. Jack was standing there in an ice blue tuxedo with a white sash and to finish it off? A silver snowflake brooch. I think I felt myself drool.
"You suit suits" I said stupidly. But he was just staring at me.

Jacks POV
Woah.
Elsa was wearing a shimmering blue dress a few shades bluer than my suit. Her hair was in a braid at the side and in it where beautiful snowflake hairpins. Perfect to match the corsage I was about to give her.
"Close your eyes" I said with a lopsided grin. She did as she was told. I put the corsage around her wrist and kissed her softly on the lips.
"Open." I whispered

Elsa's POV
My eyes fluttered open and I looked down at my wrist. A beautiful corsage was strapped to it.
"Oh Jack" I sighed. "I love it!" I jumped on him and he laughed.
We got in his car and drove to the school. Rapunzel and Eugene were standing out the front waiting for us.
We all walked in together. The hall was decorated with paper snowflakes and they'd repainted so it was a light blue. The school had even hired a snow machine!
"Les go get our photos taken!" Rapunzel said excitedly pointing to a spot in the hall where there was a backdrop of winter forest hung.

Jacks POV
Rapunzel wanted to go get photos so we walked over to the backdrop and did. We got some together and some alone but in the end they costed $20 each and we didn't even buy them. We all sat down at a table and talked for around half an hour. I couldn't stay still any longer. I grabbed Elsa's hand and led her on the dance floor.
"Jack" she squealed as I twirled her.
"What are you doing?"
"Dancing" I replied back.

Elsa's POV
I laughed as I spun and spun. I was dizzy but I didn't even care. The song changed. Jack stopped spinning me and put a hand on my back.
"What are you- ahh" I squealed as he dipped me back. I saw Rapunzel upside down. She was slow dancing with Eugene on the other side of the room.
Jack pulled me back up. Even the the music was slow, we danced fast. The crowd made a circle around as we spun and dipped and jumped. The song changed to something faster. I saw some of Jacks other friends in the crowd clapping in time with the others.
The music got faster and faster and we span faster as well. Jack rolled me out of his as and pulled me back towards him. He lifted me up as I jumped and then lowered me back down to the ground. Others started to join in. We all danced together. When the music stopped we did to. We were exhausted.
Everyone clapped and cheered as we went back to our seats. The rest of the night was the same. Dancing, Laughing, Eating.
