Chapter 14

I was setting lunch up for the family and I noticed the employee’s quad bike making their way here and I saw Ashton walking over her. I tried to ignore him but I knew it wouldn’t work.

“Jodee” I looked up smiling

“Hi Ashton”

“We need to talk”? And this was the part where I acted dumb in front of him

“About what”?

“Jodee you know what I’m talking about” he said annoyed, I looked around to see if anyone was here and luckily no one was. I put the plates down and grabbed his hand taking him to the shed. I shut the door behind me locking it and said

“Alright listen”

“Wait let me go first” I folded my arms and let Ashton speak “I’m sorry about kissing you Jodee but gosh I couldn’t help myself and I will try my best to stay away from you if you wish”

“Ashton listen kissing you wasn’t a mistake so I have to say sorry about that”

“But what about Luke you should be kissing him”

“Truth is you’ve actually beaten Luke to it, he wants to take things slow and wait for the right moment so you’ve actually kissed me first and I gotta admit kissing you was such an amazing feeling”

“It was” he asked looking up at me smiling and I nodded

“But what about Luke”? He asked, I knew Luke told me to go for it so I walked over to Ashton wrapping my arms around him

“He doesn’t have to know, it can be our little secret”

“Screw it” Ashton smashed his lips into mine again, it probably felt wrong to Ashton but it wasn’t wrong to me. Yes I was fake dating my best friend but Luke said go for it and I am. Ashton wrapped his arms around me waist putting me on bench. He started making his way down my neck “I’ve been waiting for this moment just wish I did it sooner”

“Me too” I said enjoying his lips against my skin but it was soon interrupted by someone trying to open the door “Shit” I said looking at Ashton.  I pressed my finger against his lips keeping quiet until whoever was trying to open it went away. Once someone left I pulled my finger away from his lips “Listen Ash no one can know about this alright, if we want to do this top of thing then we can go to the little private lake or go to your shack but it just can’t be here I can’t risk anything, okay”?

“Yep got it”

“Alright I’m going to leave than two minutes later you can leave”

“Can I kiss you again”? He asked, I leaned in giving him a kiss and I pushed him away “That’s enough lover boy” I jumped down from the bench laughing at him and walked out the door leaving Ashton in the shack.

I ran back to the lunch table and sat down next to Luke

“You seem in a happy mood” he said putting an arm around me

“I may or may not just had a made out session” I whispered quietly

“So looks like you two made up”

“We sure did” I said

“That’s my girl” we fist bumped each other and enjoyed our lunch, Luke and I were cool and I was with a guy who is basically a sex god.
