Epilogue: Part One

Luke and Jodee were at the airport having their final goodbyes to their family. Jodee’s mum wouldn’t let go of her.

“Oh honey, you be safe now and make sure Luke looks after you” Jodee nodded her head and moved onto her dad giving her a big hug.

“Dad it’s only a year and I’ll be back I’m not going to be gone forever”

“Yeah but to me it feels like a year” Jodee’s dad said hugging her tight. Jodee pulled away from her dad and moved onto Michael and Mia, Mia took no time but grab Jodee into a hug and soon it was Michael’s turn.

“If you ever need me, I’ll book the first flight to London and be there”

“Thank you Michael, I’ll miss you bro”

“I know” Michael said with a smirk, Jodee gave her brother a light punch.

“Jodee” Jodee turned around seeing Luke smiling “We’re going to miss our flight if we don’t hurry up”

“Wait, wait before you go family hug” Michael said, Luke’s and Jodee’s family joined in hugging the two friends who were leaving the family nest and starting their lives. Jodee and Luke held hands walking to the gates and waved to their families and boarded the plane to London ready to spend some weeks together until Luke had to go to New York.

Jodee and Luke got off the plane in London, going to the apartment they booked until Luke has to leave and Jodee goes to her dorm. London was cold compared to Australia and that was something Jodee had to get use too. Luke opened the door to the apartment and it was beautiful

“Shot gun the good bed” Jodee said running to the only room, Luke rolled his eyes walking to the bedroom and said

“Are you forgetting something”? He asked

“No, what”?

“Well were dating now aren’t we”? Luke asked taking a seat on the bed in front of Jodee, Jodee sat up and said

“I don’t know I mean you never asked me to be your girlfriend”

“Okay, then” Luke grabbed her hand and said

“Jodee will you be my real girlfriend this time”

“I would love to” Jodee wrapped her arms around Luke pulling him into a kiss; the kiss was passionate and full of lust and love.

Luke and Jodee were in bed under the covers naked with their legs tangled together they were just smiling at each other; Luke was playing with her hair like he always does. Jodee was smirking at Luke

“What”? He asked

“So much for waiting until marriage” Jodee told him

“Shut up, but listen I’m just glad my first time was with you”

“Aw” Jodee looked up at Luke giving him a kiss “You keep getting cheesier and cheesier” Luke wrapped his arms around Jodee hugging her tight.

“I’m only cheesy because I’m so in love with you”

“You are not in love with me” Jodee said joking around

“I am in love with you Jodee Clifford, your perfect in every single way and I see myself spending the rest of my life with you because you’re not just my lover you’re my best friend in the entire world, I love you Jodee”
