Ch.22

The next day Draco finally knew how to ask Hermione to the dance,even though they'd be going together.He'd ask her when he finished making breakfast.He got up early and went down to the kitchen.He thought the best way was to wake her up peacefully,so decided to make Hermione breakfast in bed.He took out the eggs and took out some bell peppers.He cut the peppers up after he had started scrambling the eggs.He mixed it in and made two omelettes.He made fresh orange juice and put them in glass cups.He put everything on a golden coloured tray and went  to Hermione's room.He knocked on the door and heard a come in.Draco entered the room and saw Hermione sitting on her bed, hiding something behind her back. "What's that?"He asked her. "Nothing"She said.Her makeup box was open on her bed but there was nothing to hide about it,She always did it infront of him. "What're you hiding behind your back?"Draco Asked again "Nothing important"She snapped. "What're you doing up early?"Hermione Asked, changing the subject.He put the plate on the bed and sat beside her. "Hermione,What are you hiding behind your back"He asked her. "It's nothing"She Said.Draco grabbed her arm from behind her back and opened her palm. "Foundation?"Draco said in a questioning tone.He then looked at her arm,The scar.He had forgotten all about it. "Why are you covering it"He asked. "Ron had to open his mouth and tell everyone about it."Hermione Said While She Looked out the window. "They all ask about it every few weeks."She Said. "They don't know how much it hurts.They don't know anything about it"She Said as She looked at the ground. "At least yours will fade"Draco muttered and rolled up his left sleeve.The dark Mark was disappearing but it was still visible.Then she realized his was more painful then anything she'd ever felt. "Voldemort's gone,it'll fade" Hermione Told him and put her hand on his. "It might disappear but the pain will always stay"Draco Said. "No one cared about my opinion,no one except my mother"He said. "My Father didn't care,My Aunt didn't care,no one"Draco said.Hermione simply didn't know what to say.Her, Harry, Ginny,every Gryffindor there had judged him for getting the dark mark.She felt so guilty that she was about to cry.She actually started crying when he started crying. 'This wasn't how it was supposed to go'Draco thought to himself. "Here" Draco Said and gave her the plate of food. "You made this for me?"She Asked.He nodded.He looked at the foundation in his hand and looked at Hermione. "If it'll make you feel better, you can put some on it"She Said.Draco opened it and put some on his dark mark. When He'd finished covering it,he felt better.It was gone. "Where do you get this?"He asked. "There's a makeup shop in Diagon alley"Hermione Said "I'll buy us a pack to share"She Said.They ate the food Draco made for them and Went down to the Hogwarts Kitchen.They got loads of food,packing it in the basket then stopped half way. "We have to go to Diagon alley today for the Halloween Dance"Hermione Said. "We'll finish and keep it here.When we're done from Diagon alley we'll come pick it up and go to the lake" Draco Said.They filled the basket up and left it there when they were gonna go to McGonagall's office then stopped again. "It's 5 in the morning"Draco reminded Hermione as She facepalmed. "I'm not focused at all today"She Said as they walked back to the dorm.They sat in the living room for a bit before seeing an owl outside the window.Hermione got up and got the letter from the owl.She opened and read the letter out loud

Draco,Granger,

Me,Pansy,Astoria And Theo Are coming in 5 minuets.We want 2 cheese pies each.And some orange juice too.

"He sends us this 5 minuets before they come"Hermione shook her head. "We'll need 50 cheese pies then"Draco Said. "Only 4 people are coming"She Said. "Theo And Blaise will Each Eat 15 or 20,Then us two will eat about 6 then Astoira And Pansy will Eat 3 Each.Then we'll have extras to take with us to the Lake"Draco explained. "No you boys together will eat about 50,us girls will eat 10 together.We'll get 80" Hermione Said. "I don't eat much"Draco rolled his eyes. "Do you hear yourself"She Asked with a laugh.He rolled his eyes at her and got up. "Dobby"Draco called and Dobby appeared a few seconds later. "Master Draco." Dobby bowed down "Madam Mione"Dobby bowed again. "Dobby we need 80 cheese pies.Can you And around 10 elf's make them" Draco Asked. "Dobby can sir,it be done in 4"He said. "Thank you Dobby"Hermione Said.With a pop Dobby was gone. "Mione?"Draco questioned "He picked it up from Ginny and Harry"Hermione said. "Let's go make a jug of Juice"She Said. In 2 minuets they had finished squeezing 40 oranges and had dumped it in the jug.then about a minuet later Dobby and 13 other house elf's we're back with the cheese pies.They put them on the dining table and heard Rowena Ravenclaw's voice. "Your Friends Are here"She Said.They Opened the Portrait and saw More then four people there.There was Pansy,Theo, Blaise,Astoria,Tracey,Daphne,Crabbe And Goyal. Hermione Looked At Pansy And she mouthed a Sorry.Draco let them in as Hermione stood aside. "Mudblood"Tracy whispered as she walked by and Glared at Hermione. "I should have told Dobby to put hot sauce on half of the pies" Hermione muttered to Draco once All his friends were in the dining room. "They're not that bad"Draco Said with a small chuckle. "You got me to get used to 4 of them,I'm not doing another 4"She Said.Draco made sure no one was gonna look before kissing the top of her head.Hermione sat between Blaise And Draco at the table,Getting glares From Crabbe, Goyal,Daphne,and Tracey. "Back away from Draco"Tracey snapped at Hermione. "Tracey,back down"Theo Snapped. "She let you into their dorm,She could have just slammed the door in your face"He said. "It's Draco's dorm not Hers" Daphne said. "Granger couldn't afford a Quarter Of this room"She sneered. "You can call me down when they're gone"Hermione Said to Draco as she stood up. "I'll be in my room"She Said And Left the room. "Blaise,Theo,A word"Draco said and the 3 left the dining room. "Why'd you bring them?" He asked in a sharp tone. "They followed us once we told them we're going to see you"Blaise Said. "We told them not to and they said they don't want Granger with you alone."Theo Said. "Stay with them,I'll bring Her food up"Draco Said and they entered the dining room.Draco grabbed 3 cheese pies and a glass of orange juice,placing them on a tray. "Where are you going?"Crabbe Asked. "I'm giving them to Granger" He said. "Why?"Daphne asked. "She's not important"She said.Draco narrowed his eyes at her and was about to talk when Blaise spoke. "She's the brightest witch of our Age Daphne,I'd say she's more important then your whole Family" Blaise snapped.Draco left and Went to Hermione's room.He entered her room and saw her on her bed staring at the ground. "Hermione,I got you your food"He said.He put the tray on the Bed and kneeled down infront Of her. "Hermione look at me"Draco Said.She lifted her head up an inch to look at him. "Wouldn't you rather go eat with your pureblooded friends"Hermione snapped. "I would rather be with you then anyone else in the world"Draco said,placing his hand on her cheek. "Tell that to that friend of yours"she said. "I'd tell the Whole world if it would make you happy"He said.She removed his hand from her cheek and held it in her hands before kissing the top of his head. "Thanks"Hermione Said. "If you don't want to eat in the dining room,you can sit in the living room,That way I can keep an eye on you"Draco Said. "I'm not a child Draco"She laughed slightly. "Doesn't matter,I want to keep you safe,Even If I have to risk my life I'll still do it" Draco told her.After a bit,she agreed to go down to the living room.She ate in the living room as they ate in the dining room.

"What took you so long Drakie"Tracey Asked. "Don't call me Drakie"Draco snapped. "What took you so long Draco"Tracey Asked again. "What I Do shouldn't concern you"Draco Said. "It should Because we're your future wives"Daphne said and gestured to her and Tracey. "You think he'd marry both of you" Hermione Asked,with a laugh as she Came into the room and sat at her place at the table. "Of course,Me and Tracey can share him"Daphne snapped. "I thought we decided that I'd have a night with him then you would have a night"Tracey snapped.Hermione Looked over to Draco and saw him glaring at both of them. "I'm not even gonna spend an hour with one of you alone"Draco snapped. "I've picked the one I'm gonna marry in 3rd year,I haven't changed my mind since" He said and secretly grabbed Hermione's hand from under the table. "Who is She May I ask?"Daphne Asked. "Why,So you can hex her?"Theo Asked. "Zip It Theo"She snapped. "Watch your mouth"Astoria Said to her sister. "you shouldn't be asking Draco who is future wife is,If it was you,He would've changed his mind right away"Blaise Said. "It's me!" Daphne squealed. "Never"Draco snapped. "Who's better then me?"She Asked, "Any one,Even Ron's girlfriend is better" Hermione Said,She wasn't gonna let Daphne get away after insulting her. "No one asked for your opinion Mudblood" Tracey snapped. "Keep that attitude up and your blood will be in mud"Hermione snapped at her in a threatening tone that had scared Ginny,Who was the scariest person she had met. Tracey Glared At Her but didn't say anything else.
