"What? But Jasper... you don't know what you're up against!"
Steven tries to stop Jasper as she marches towards the armory. The other gems are under Bismuth's command; fixing the damage the Alaskan Bull Gem caused the night before.
"We're talking about an..." He inhaled deeply, "Alaskan... Bull... Worm!" He emphasised his words with hand-boi-ing.
"Well, I don't know anything about Alaska, but look here." She grabbed his shoulder and pulled out a stone tablet with an etching on it. "Back during the gem war, I wrangled all kinds of powerful gems, and I wrestled gem-worms -" She dropped the heavy slate in his arms, "and as far as I'm concerned, doing them together just saves rope."
Steven took the heavy tablet from her, with a look of confusion on his face, "is that you using my mum - in worm form - to lasso Alexandrite...?"
Jasper peered at it, "huh, yeah looks like it." She pushed Steven away, "now I'm going to kick me some corrupted gem ass! Yee-haw!" She sprints off into the distance and Steven can't keep up. He drops the tablet, deciding he'll pick it up later.
"But Jasper, you don't know!" He yells after her.
"Don't worry, Steven!" She barks, "I won't be long!"
"Jasper! Jasper!" He chases after her.
"Go get 'em, Jasper! I believe in you!" Garnet says encouragingly from afar. She turns to Amythest and leans close, "now, what was that idea of yours?"
