Fred snuck around the corner, map in hand. He hugged the wall as he approached the little freak. Silently, he waited. He closed the map and slipped it into his pocket less than a second before Malfoy rounded the corner.
Fred pushed him against the wall and grabbed him by the collar.
"What the bloody hell Weasley?" he spat, struggling.
"Leave her alone," Fred demanded coolly.
"Who- Why do you care?"
"Doesn't matter. Leave her alone or I will sneak into your dorm and strangle you in your sleep," he threatened, slamming Malfoy against the wall, again.
"I just want to take her to the ball!" he defended, trying to push Fred off.
"If anyone is taking her, it'll be me. Got it?"
"Yes," he whimpered.
"Good." Fred released his robes and walked away, not another word said.
