"You can read about yourself later. Mills sent me a letter saying I was mentioned. You know how much I hate that."

He shrugged. "Haven't seen it yet. Go on then."

Callum Beckondoff, formerly the rising star of Germany's Heidelberg Harriers, will join the rough-and-tumble Falcons this season. The Falcons expect a nearly flawless implication. Beckondoff and his family plan to relocate to London before the start of the season, according to our anonymous sources. The family of four includes mother Alice, father Leon, and his little sister of 16. Little Beckondoff lives a life of privacy, but fans are fascinated by her prospects as a quidditch player as well. Callum mentioned in an interview that he and his sister played together, her as a chaser as well. He claimed to largely owe her for his skill as she was 'bloody fast and bloody brilliant' at the sport.
Even the most dedicated fans of the sport (and scouts) know very little of the girl. All we know as of now is she will attend Hogwarts this year and next year, likely giving us a hint at her career prospects. Miss Beckondoff has apparently been very involved with her brother's team behind the scenes. She has been known to play water girl, cook, and clean after the guys.
Last year at the final Harriers match, Miss Beckondoff was photographed hugging her brother and his teammate Noah Dietrich. Following this, fans speculated the chaser's sister was also dating the seeker. This rumor was never confirmed nor denied by either party. Outside of these quidditch prospects and rumors, all that is known of the girl is she is trilingual, speaking her mother's tongue of English, father's German, and the Beauxbatons standard of French. The reserved girl is considered to be a bright and talented witch. Many say she is quite attractive (hence the believability of the aforementioned rumor). And some highly sought after information (that has long been considered a complete mystery) is sis's name. I dropped the paper. Why else would Rita Skeeter be involved in sports analysis? Of course she was spreading rumors and finding information not released to the public. I'd never even heard about the rumor of Noah and I dating... But how did she find my name? That was creepier than anything else. And everything else...Callum never said anything. But my name, the stuff about practicing with him, helping out the team... Callum's been careful about saying my name because of the Emily Wronski obsession. He talked about me when he was first drafted to the Vultures five years ago, back when no one cared about him. And the team...I cooked for them occasionally and helped with the victory parties. Plus I was in charge of running errands for Coach Arnold. But that was it.

"Apparently I was snogging Dietrich. Also the bat managed to find my name."

"I didn't-"

"I know. It's weird. I doubt anyone decided they had to tell her they knew my name. She must've dug around and asked. I'm honestly surprised I've got off this long. But she's calling a lot of attention to me. I'm going to pissed if she makes me the next Emily."

"I wish I could help. I wonder why that gossip queen was on this front page."

"Me too. I mean, not only is obsessing over celebrities' personal lives weird, but...I'm not a celebrity. And I'm sixteen, which she points out. Plus, Dietrich's, what, twenty?"
