TW: clear. Rating: dirty jokes.

"Percy?" I asked, approaching him from behind.

He turned around. "Hey," he greeted, ignoring his brothers' snickering and looks.

"Are you giving something to, umm, that girl?" I asked, trying not to look at the twins.

"Shut it, you two," Wood lectured beside Percy. "Hey lass." He slid down enough for me to sit, even if it was a little too close for comfort.

"I hope so. You're looking too?" he asked. Wood looked over at us, confused. "Dumbledore's doing this thing about the houses needing to interact more. His first challenge for us prefects is to get another houses' T-shirt, sweater, scarf, hat, whatever and wear it."

"And of course wearing someone's house stuff means you like them," I added, giving Percy a smirk.

"It wasn't my idea!" Percy defended.

"I know, but still," I answered with a shrug.

"Has Davies given something to anyone?" Percy asked. "He'd give you anything because, ya know, he likes you."

"And that's precisely why I'm not going to ask him," I sighed.

"Just tell him you don't like him after you get whatever," Percy offered.

"I'm not doing that."

"Wood, you should give her something," one of the twins piped up.

I turned my attention to him. "Please Wood? I'll love you forevvvver."

"How could I say no to an offer of eternal love?" he asked with an amused smile.

"Ah, thank you! Thank you!" I leaned my head into his shoulder and wrapped my arms around his waist.

"Careful, Davies is going to be jealous," Percy teased.

I rolled my eyes as I released Wood. "Like I care. Plus, he's already jealous of Wood. He wishes he was half as good at quidditch."

"I already said yes," he said with a chuckle.

"It's true," I answered with a shrug.

"Ah, thanks lass. When do you need it?"

"Next Friday is the day we're supposed to wear our stuff. So...Thursday after dinner?"

"Remind me at lunch?" he asked.

"I'll try. See you two later. And thank you for the obvious solution," I told the Weasley twin with a laugh. He smiled, looking over at Wood.

That Friday, I reminded Wood at lunch, just like he asked, still unsure of what he was going to give me. After I finished eating, I went over to the Gryffindor table. Wood made room for me between him and Percy again, but this time there wasn't as much room. I practically had to sit on Wood's lap while the three of us talked. Once some of the younger Hufflepuffs started off to the common room, I knew I'd have to get going.

"Alright, here you are lass." He handed me a neatly folded sweater. I took it from him with a suppressed smile.

"Thanks, Wood."

I went back to my common room and put the sweater in my trunk before policing the common room.

The next day, my dormmates teased me relentlessly about Oliver. Apparently a jumper meant that he was extremely interested in me. Maybe if I had a scarf it would've been quieter, but I doubted it.

"You and Oliver Wood would be the cutest couple everrrrr!"

"I wanna go to your wedding!"

"Me too!"
