As the Uber pulled into the cemetery, I swung the car door open. I run towards the grave I so desperately needed to see. I kneel down on the dirt not really caring about my dress surprisingly enough. I hear Caleb's footsteps approaching as I read the tombstone. Tears in my eyes as I internally say my sorry's and ask for forgiveness. It's my fault but not as much as it was hers. I stand up and dust off my dress. Caleb speaks in a low voice, "Who is this? If you don't mind me asking." I sigh, "A friend of mine that died a year ago today." Caleb rubs my back and that feeling made me consider him a bit.

"Kianna Pryce and I were best friends. Before my trio was the dynamic duo. We were the only girls in school that had the decency to be nice to everyone. She had a boyfriend and I was single. Let's just say he wasn't my favorite guy, not that I was being possessive. I wanted her to spend time with him whenever she could. Her canceling on me whenever they made plans was fine. But my intuition told me he was cheating on her.

Cylyss Kong came to our school later in the curriculum. Her and Ava, Ace's sister, we're really good friends. Ava expressed to Cylyss that she liked Kianna's boyfriend. Cylyss told her to 'go for it'. Going for it also meant she wanted him to. I only found out because I was hiding in a bathroom stall. I later saw Cylyss kissing him in the hall, I told Kianna and she wouldn't believe me. She said 'he would never cheat even if I were throwing myself at him'. She told me to come back with proof or forget our friendship. Her piece about him not even having the temptation to cheat with me stuck.

One night at one of Ace's parties. We hooked up and of course I only wanted it to be us making out and being posted on social media. He snuck me into a room and we REALLY hooked up. He recorded us messing around without me knowing. When she saw the small snippets of us making out on social media, she made a big scene in the hall, broke up with him, and told me that I was dead to her.

We continued through the year and she committed after school. She left a note saying that she forgives me. But losing her really brought me to a low point. Towards the end of the year, her ex boyfriend was going out with Ava and decided to post that video of us at the party. Ace was there for me and got his dad to defend me in court. I started to take a liking to Ace, he was my safe haven. While the trial was going on my parents died in an accident and I got relocated to live with my sister. We won the case so now the guy is in jail. I got justice for Kianna but I lost her as well."

"Damn," Caleb manages to say. He continues, "Not to be insensitive but why are we here?" I groan, " One, so you could get to know me and two, now you and I can create an agreement." He rubs the back of his neck, "What kind of agreement?" I roll my eyes, "You want Cylyss and I want Ace so let's figure out how to break them up. Cylyss clearly likes you so we have to get her to break up with him. Ace doesn't like you because he knows that you're a threat. To take heat off you, we fake date. Then they'll think we're happy. You then become friends with Cylyss and she'll think it's an innocent relationship until you reel her in with your 'charm' and then I'll be able to get Ace organically." "I have charm, it worked on you," Haha this boy's funny. His "charm" is useful but won't get him as far as his brains will. "Alright, I'll do it, it's smart. And starting off as her friend will work better for me. I want to apologize to her about how I acted tonight." I smiled at him and got into more of the specifics for the plan.

Getting to know him for the sake of our "relationship" was good. We left the cemetery and ended up at Falls Diner. They have the best milkshakes. His phone kept blowing up and I had one burning question to ask. "You told me about your sister and your dad, but what happened to your mom?" He sighs, "She got arrested for a crime she didn't commit. The definition of wrong place wrong time. My dad was called to the stand to defend her and told the judge she did it. She was arrested immediately. I hated him for weeks. When he decided to move as fast as he did, I knew it was because he didn't want us to see her. He wouldn't even let us visit her before we left," He seemed upset about it so I grabbed his hand rubbing small circles. "Hey, I'm sorry. Clearly talking about it isn't what you want." He looks at me with his brown eyes and said, "Thank you,"
