Maya and I walked in to school early as hell. Ravenwood High is enormous. It gave me dark private school vibes. The type of school you see in the movies where there's a killer that tries to get revenge on the preppy girls at school. I was into it. I wondered if they would let me film a short film here. We got to the principal's office and the tour started.

Once we got to the fourth floor, the principal called out to a really pretty girl. She had nice chocolate skin and great dark curls. Her eyes were dark and she was very short compared to me. I couldn't help but stare. "Hello gorgeous," I kissed her hand delicately and she had the slightest blush in her cheeks. She's cute and now I'm curious, I want to get to know her. I NEED to know her. As she walked away with my sister, I couldn't wait to see her again. I'm gonna have to ask Maya about her later and see what that girl is all about.

After the tour, I got to my first class. I walked into the gymnasium and immediately caught the attention of a bunch of girls. They were huddled up giggling, whispering, and looking in my direction. I was trying to make friends so I walked up to a group of guys. As I was making small talk, I took this opportunity to ask the guys about Cylyss. "There was this girl I saw this morning, I think her name was Cy-," One of the guys named Gary interrupted, "Don't. She's already taken," Another guy, Caden, spoke up, "Yeah save yourself the trouble. She's sweet and all but-," That's when the coach called everyone over. I wonder what the rest of that sentence was. Should I stay away or keep interest? That conversation made me more intrigued.

As I was choosing my team I thought about a few things. How fit they looked, their posture, and if they were Cylyss. She truly is gorgeous. "Gary, Trey, Caden, Cylyss, the girl with the blue highlights, girl with sweatpants, and Drew." Cylyss had a shocked look on her face when I picked her to be on my team. She walked over shyly and stood towards the back. The girl with the heels and I kept picking our teams until the whole class was split up. Everyone was chill and introduced themselves. This school is very welcoming so far.

Regardless, I hate losing. For someone who has lost a lot, losing isn't an option anymore, even if it's just a game. I clasp my hands together to get my teams attention. I take a deep breath and begin my pep talk, "Alright, so basically my advice is don't lose. Also aim for the weak players. These are your classmates, y'all know which ones suck." I start to turn away and talk to Gary, when I heard her cute, shy voice, "What are you going to do if we lose?" I don't know what got into me but I closed the gap between us, analyzing every inch of her, "Babygirl, if you want to find out, keep testing me." I smirked and winked as I walk away leaving her flustered.

As the game was coming to an end it was basically a few boys from the other team along with their team captain. Cylyss, Gary, girl with blue highlights which I found out was named Storm, and I were left. Cylyss threw a ball and next thing I know the team captain hits the floor. People ran over to her. One girl, who I could tell wasn't a natural blonde was screaming at the top of her lungs. I walk over to the unconscious girl, "Give her space," I check her pulse, she's fine. I pick her up, "Can someone show me where the nurses office is?" A bunch of girls volunteered except Cylyss, who I saw walking away.

I end up following the "blonde" girl and another brunette. They said they were close friends with the girl I was holding. "So.....Caleb, I'm Erica and this is Brittney. The girl currently unconscious in your arms is Angelina. If you have any questions about the school, please feel free to ask." She bats her fake eyelashes and honestly I'm kind of uncomfortable. "Uh, how did you know my name?" Brittney responds, "We make it our business to know everyone that goes here and make sure they have the best highschool experience." Not judging or anything, but I don't believe her. Erica speaks again, "We're like the welcome committee. Anyway, I saw you talking to Cylyss. She's pretty right? You should totally ask her out." I think for a second, were people watching us interact? I mean I was not being discreet, but mind your business. "Doesn't she have a boyfriend?" She turns and smiles at me, "Oh silly, you haven't been in school long enough. On the first day they had a little falling out. She's basically single now." That I half believe that. Cylyss wasn't exactly turning me down this morning. I'll have to ask her myself.

Once we reached the nurses office, I thought I entered a hospital. We had to sign her in and wait to be called. By the time we got approved to go in. The nurse told me to set her down while she gets Angelina's file. I got up and started walking away from the bed and feel a hand on my wrist. "Don't go," Angelina whispered.
