The smell of bacon, eggs, and waffles was all I could smell as I sat at the kitchen table waiting for breakfast to be served. "Coffee or water?" my mom asks as she places mugs on the table. "Give them water." My dad shouts as he grabs my mom's ass and kisses her good morning. "Hey baby." She smiles, as he removes his hand from her ass. He pulled a seat up at the table and the doorbell rang. "Nina can you go see who's at the door?" Nina wipes the sweat off her face and dries her hands on her apron. She hurries to the door, takes a quick glance through the peephole, and backs away. "Umm, Athena I think you should come see this." Mom puts down her coffee and makes her way to the door.

"Why the fuck is she here?" Mom whispers. "Who's here?" I said glancing up from my phone screen. "Go back to eating your food." She said dismissing me. Mom swings the door open and standing on the other side was... her? It was her twin sister, they looked identical in every way. "Athena, you put on some weight." She said, pulling in her luggage. "What are you doing in my house? I thought that I made it very clear that I don't ever want to see your face again." Mom said, clenching her jaw. "That's no way to speak to your baby sister. Where's my welcome back?" She said snapping back at Athena.

"Babe, who's at the door?" Dad screamed getting up from the table to make his way to the living room. "Aphrodite, is that you?" He said giving her a big hug. "Damn, Andre, you look just like I remember from when we were in college." She said eyeing him from top to bottom. "I know it's been dry for you lately, but you can calm your loose pussy down, he's MARRIED." Mom growled. "You're being a bit aggressive and I don't like it." Aphrodite said making her way to the kitchen.

"Not surprised you still have poor Nina out here doing your dirty work. All that time that you've spent with your head buried in books instead of learning how to take care of your womanly duties." She scoffs, looking around the kitchen and glancing at picture frames. "All the time you've spent with your legs open instead of actually learning how to do anything was clearly a waste. No ring I see. Not surprised. You can't just come out of nowhere and try to tell me how to run my life. Clearly things are not working well for you and so you come crawling back like the low life bitch that you are. What is it this time? Your boyfriend dumped you, you want new clothes, or is it debt?" My mother says glaring at her from the other side of the kitchen.

"Mom kicked me out." She said lowering her head. My mom chuckled lowly, "So what? You think my house is some sort of safe haven or something?" She looks at her nails carelessly. "Athena please, you can't leave a girl hanging." Aphrodite said hopelessly. "Watch me, get out!" That's when my dad placed his hands on my mom's shoulders and sighs, "Baby, let's talk about this." She snaps her head towards him,"Andre there's nothing to talk about. I don't have time to babysit. She's never bothered to show up to our wedding or the hospital for Ace and Ava's birth. She never even decided to meet them." "Babe, I remember-," Mom cuts him off, "No, you don't remember Andre." Mom snapped back. "I had to deal with this crap for 42 years and I'm done."

My dad tries to calm her down, "Ok how about I get her a job as my secretary. She went to law school and I could use her skills in the office." He said grabbing hold of mom's hand and placing a gentle kiss on her forehead. "When she is stable and is able to get a place of her own, then I'll transfer her to another law firm that we work closely with." Mom let out a sigh. "Do you think that's a good idea?" He nods, "Yes, baby and everything will work out great. Let's go finish breakfast."

"Mom, why didn't you tell us about your twin sister." Ava said, picking up a piece crispy bacon and shoving it into her mouth. "Because she's embarrassed." Aphrodite says taking a sip of her coffee. "Don't start with me, you don't get to speak. I never told you about this tramp because she didn't want anything to do with you both, so I didn't find it necessary." Aphrodite rolls her eyes, "I wasn't there because I had something to take care of and I'm here now that's all that matters." Mom mocks her under her breath and continues to eat.
