I got out of the shower and grabbed my pick. I started to pick out my fro as well as my outfit. When I was done, I ended up picking out a white shirt, black jeans, and white Adidas. When I was done getting dressed I made my way to the balcony to let my mother know that I was invited to dinner by Ace's mom. I was just about to leave when my mother grabbed my hand and said, "When are you going to tell him?" I stared at her with a confused look on my face, "Tell him what?" She rolls her eyes, "Don't be stupid," she said eyeing me, thats when I knew what she was talking about. "Look mom I have to go, can we talk about this later?"

"No," she said with a stern look on her face. "If you don't talk to him now, you're never going to do it." "I am going to tell him, I'm just not ready, I don't want him to look at me differently." It's true, what Ace doesn't know won't hurt him. Sure we've been boys forever, but this will either make him kill me or never want to speak to me again. "You'll never be ready, just tell him now sooner rather than later," she says as she takes a sip of her wine. She grabs a cigarette and continues to speak saying, "Kids nowadays are too soft," before she could say anything more, I was already out the door.

When I got there I greeted everyone, including that monster of a man, Andre Lockwood. Don't get me wrong, dude is very smart that's why he has his own law firm. He's a powerful man, but damn you would think you would lighten up on your wife and kids. "Logan, how are you doing son?" I give him a firm handshake, "I'm doing well sir. How's the firm treating you?" "It's going well, I'm glad you were able to come for dinner. Maybe this year you can ensure that Ace behaves in all his classes for the right price?" I don't get what he's hinting at. Ace and Ava are in their rooms and I am stuck with him in the living room. "I'm not sure I understand sir." "I just thought as an incentive for keeping my son away from that horrid girl I could give you a couple hundreds," Okay, forget I called him smart. This bozo is out of his mind. No amount of money would make me break them up. He pats my shoulder, "Just think about it. Ace is upstairs you should probably go tell him you're here."

As I reach the top of the steps, I see the maid dusting a few of Ace's trophies. Nina is a middle-aged woman with 2 kids I think. "Hi Ms. Lafox, long time no see." She laughs, "Hey Logan. If you need anything I'll be in the kitchen finishing up dinner." I walk into Ace's room to find it empty. I then look at his closet and decide to have some fun. I start picking out a bunch of shirts, jeans, and sneakers. I'm a fashionable person, therefore my friends have to be fashionable too. I look over at his drawers to see if I can find accessories. Looking at different expensive watches and chains, I start to think of what being a Lockwood is like. "Uhhh, what are you doing in my room." I had a freaking heart attack. He was dripping from head to toe with a towel wrapped around his waist just below his V-line. The water gliding down his abs were a sight to see. "Uhh hello." I clear my throat, "Huh? Oh yeah. Hey man. I just thought your style needed some cleaning up." He chuckles, "Dude my style is fine. Now get out so I can change."

I quickly took a glance at Ace and then made my way to the theater room. The soundproof theater room is where I spent most of my time in Ace house. It is a very spacious room with a huge flat screen TV on the wall. Off to the side in a corner there's a pantry and a fridge, both stacked with all sorts of food for when individuals have friends over. I was about to turn on the TV that's when I got a text from Ace saying that dinner is ready. I made my way upstairs and into the kitchen.

After dinner I had decided to help out Nina with the dishes. "How's life treating you?" I asked as I opened up the dishwasher. "It's not bad," She said as we started to load up the dishwasher. "This family is crazy wealthy and they pay me to pick up after them, I'll live." She turns and looks at me, "If you knew the things that went on in this family you would have lost your damn mind," she said chuckling. "What type of things," I said looking at her seriously. She paused and looked up at me, "Are you sure you want to know?" "Of course I do," I said back. She turned on the faucet and whispered in my ear. When she was done, she turned the faucet off and went back to filling up the dishwasher I was still I was too shocked to help out anymore. "Bye Logan," she said as I turned away to leave speechless.
