I had decided to let Cylyss spend the weekend with me since I told her my parents were away for business. We've spent most of the time watching Netflix and cuddling up with each other. We were getting ready for school the next day and that's when I decided to ask her, "If we were not together, would you have considered being with him?" She started fumbling with her words, "umm...baby where is this coming from?" I rubbed my face and said, "Where do you think this is coming from? I just want to know where your head's at." She walked up to me, placed her arms around my neck and stated, "Let's not focus on Caleb, I want you and you only. If Caleb wants my attention, he's going to have to do much more than kiss me. He'd have to use his charm and trust me he doesn't have any." I decided to put my mind at ease and finished getting ready for school.

Cylyss and I walked into school holding hands knowing that our relationship was stronger than ever. I was about to drop her off to class and that's when Caleb exited a classroom with Angelina. I said, "Yo, how was the dance on Friday?" He replied, "I can't kiss and tell, now can I Cylyss?" "Leave her out of it," I said taking a step closer to him. "Cylyss had nothing to do with this, you forced yourself onto her." A group started to form around us, Caleb started to laugh hysterically and then stopped, "Is that what your chick told you...man you're more gullible than I thought. Cylyss, you're gonna let guys speak for you now?" Caleb asked looking at her up and down. "Man fuck you and your relationship," he holds up both of his middle fingers. I was about to say something to Caleb but my fists beat me to it. After punching Caleb's jaw, I grab him by the jacket and proceeded to beat the living hell thing out of him. A bigger circle of kids started to form around us and I'm not going to lie, It did feel good to put the new kid in his place. He started to punch me back and got a few good hits in. Bruises started to appear my knuckles and I knew I had a black eye. That's when a familiar voice arose from the chanting crowd telling me to get the fuck off of Caleb. When I came to my senses my knuckles were all bloody. I grabbed my belongings and rushed off to the men's bathroom watching Caleb get consoled by Angelina.

As I'm heading to the bathroom Cylyss runs in after me and says, "What the fuck was that about?" I avoid her eyes and say in a calm voice, "Can we not talk about this?" Cy starts to yell, "You would have beaten Caleb to death if I didn't come to stop you." Okay I'm officially fed up. "Why do you keep defending him?! This is exactly what I was talking about this morning." She runs her hands through her hair. "Hey, don't you dare turn this on me. I was trying to help you or are you forgetting that you have a reputation to uphold?" Cy screamed. "You know what I'm not really in the mood to look at your fucking face right now." Cy scoffed, "WOW tell me how you really feel, your fucking unbelievable." I start to rinse the blood off my knuckles as Cy leaves the boys bathroom.

A few seconds later, Logan comes running into the bathroom. "Bro, that was amazing. I didn't think you had it in you." "I didn't think I did either, he's not particularly a small person" I stated drying my hands. Logan started to grin, "I appreciate what you do for Cylyss but Caleb is with Angelina if you haven't heard." I stop moving and stared Logan dead in the face, "You thought I did that for her, naw man fuck that shit. I did it for myself."

I spent the rest of the day ignoring basically everyone. Caleb got a couple good hits in, but I'm not done with him. He has crossed a line and I want him to regret it. During my lunch period I sat with the boys and watched Cylyss walk into the lunchroom. We made eye contact briefly and she left. I got up to go after her and felt a tug on my arm. "She needs space, give her a second to breathe." Logan let go of me and continued to eat his sandwich. I was about to say something when he cut me off, "I get it you love her, but you shove that shit down her throat. I love you guys together and all, but she needs to be her own person too." I hate that he's right.

I see Angelina walk in... with Caleb. Her friends follow close behind and she showers him with kisses. I guess the rumor is true. Seeing him made my hands ball up into fists. He grabbed Angelina's hand and sat right across from me.  Does he have a death wish? "So, Ace good news. The coach decided to let me be a wide receiver for the team. Can't wait for our game tonight." I could feel myself clenching my jaw and thought about this as an opportunity. "That's great," I stand up and go over to his side of the table. I lean into his ear, "Let's see if your a match for me on the field. You could barely handle me in the hall." I smirk walking away.
