It turns out that he's the bigger flirt between us.  Bailey chuckled.  I guess you can't judge a book by its cover.

"Why am I a book?" Yulian asked.

Darn it.  I forgot that he could hear my thoughts.  Bailey awkwardly proceeded to teach Yulian how to use the washing machine and saw the other smiling sweetly at him.  Have mercy on my fragile heart.

"Are you feeling sick?  Should we go to the hospital for your heart?"

"I'll be fine as long as you stop smiling like that." Bailey inhaled a shaky breath and rubbed a palm on his own chest.  "Be still, my heart."

Yulian gasped.  "No.  Your heart must not be still.  You're very young.  You must live a long life."

"Um...I didn't mean it that way." Bailey gawked at him in disbelief.

            "But you said..."

"Never mind what I said," Bailey interrupted.

            "I don't understand."

            "You don't need to understand."

            "Why not?"

            "I'm a complicated person, remember?"

            "Yes, I do." Yulian nodded.

            "Good." Bailey grinned.

Gazing at the other's grin gave Yulian an odd feeling, and he furrowed his brows in confusion.  What is happening to me?  Why is his smile giving me these feelings?  Is this the same reason why he doesn't want me to smile?

"White..." Bailey waved a hand in front of the alien's face.  "Are you feeling okay?"

Blinking back to reality, Yulian answered. "I'm feeling strange."

            "Is it your head?"

"No." Yulian shook his head.  "It's your smile.  You're making me feel a strong attraction to you."

"How are you able to flirt with such an innocent face?"

            "Am I flirting?"

            "Yes."

            "What is flirting?"

"It's when one tries to court another by using different approaches." Bailey noticed that Yulian was giving him a blank stare and realized that it was pointless.  "Forget it.  Let's get back to doing laundry.  Do you know how to use the machines now?"

            "Yes," Yulian affirmed.

"Okay." Bailey led him out to the hallway.  "I have an extra room, so you can use it."

            "I have a room?"

"Yeah.  Let me show you to your room."

"Am I not sleeping where I slept last night?"

"No.  You slept on the couch last night because you were drunk.  I wasn't able to move you, because you're ridiculously strong.  Plus, you had your arms around me."

            "I'm your husband," Yulian recited.

"Don't say that out loud.  People might misunderstand."
