That is why I transported Bowen to the past so that he has a second chance with Skye. Yulian explained.

Thiago gazed straight at Skye, but he wasn't really looking at him. This whole thing started out with Bowen saving Skye, and then I transported Skye back to change that. As a result, Skye lost his life. Therefore, you transported Bowen back to reverse everything.

So it was Bowen who died the first time around; not Skye. Then, Skye died during your transported timeline. By the time I transported Bowen, it was because of the outcome of your transport. Their memories are starting to merge, because both timelines are crossing paths.

If anything happens to Bowen this time around, it might be permanent. We aren't allowed to transport them more than once, or else their human minds won't be able to handle all the blending timelines. It will be hard for them to differentiate between the various realities. They are already handling three timelines together.

Actually, I accidentally pulled Bowen out from the past and threw him 2 years into the future.

You what?!

It's a long story.

This is bad. They have four timelines merging?
You need not worry. Throwing him forward didn't seem to do much damage. His old self just took over during the 2 years where his current consciousness was transported forward. Those 2 years, he lived on without worrying about having to save Skye. Of course, he did have feelings of sadness sometimes due to the blending timelines of him being transported back. It wasn't major.

Perhaps, you'll think that it's silly for thinking this. But, I've became attached to this human. I don't want to see him die. Thiago admitted.

I don't think that it's silly at all. Yulian told him. I feel the same way about Bowen. I don't want to see either one of them perish.

Thiago's brows furrowed.

"Thiago? What's the matter?" Skye's voice pulled him out of his mental conversation with Yulian.

"Pardon?" Thiago averted his attention back to Skye.

"You're kind of in a daze."

"I apologize. I got a little distracted." Thiago answered honestly.

"By what...?" Skye wondered.

"By," Thiago quickly searched for a reason and spotted the painting behind Skye, "that stunning painting of a cup of coffee. It looks very tasty and I'm tempted to try it."

Skye held back his tears and sniffed. "Y-You're holding..."

"Holding...?" Thiago glanced down at his hand and realized. That's right. We're in a coffee shop and I ordered a coffee earlier. Lifting his cup up to his mouth, he took a sip of his icy beverage. "Mm...this is very tasty indeed."

"Are you feeling okay?"

"Yes," Thiago confirmed. "You know what I am. I don't get sick easily."

Aliens don't get sick physically, but what about mentally?

"Are you questioning my sanity?" Thiago narrowed his eyes in disapproval.

"I..." Skye blinked nervously. I keep forgetting that he is able to hear my thoughts.

"Yes, you do." Thiago smirked.
