Note: Yulian and John are the same person/alien. He has John's appearance, but he's still Yulian. That's why I'm calling him Yulian throughout. ^__~

Wearing a blue apron, Yulian had on a tight white T-shirt and jeans with rips on the knees. The muscles on his arms bulged whenever he lifted something and Skye couldn't help but stared at him in amazement.
Yulian noticed that Skye's eyes were glued to him and wondered why. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
"Could I ask you something, John?" Skye asked.
"What is it?" Yulian handed the vegetables that he finished rinsing to Skye.
"How hard do you have to workout to look like you do?"
"I don't have to work out. I just transformed myself into this appearance." Yulian responded honestly.
"Okay." Skye plastered on a smile and began cutting the broccoli. I wish I could transform into someone Bowen likes.
"You don't have to transform. Bowen already likes you as you are."
"Pardon?" Skye glanced at him in surprise. It's like he's able to hear my thoughts.
"I mean, I could tell that Bowen likes you a lot. My cousin's eyes sparkle whenever you're around, and you're all he talks about."
"Really? He talks to you about me?" Skye put the cut broccoli back into the strainer and minced a clove of garlic.
"Yes."
"Good things?" Skye lifted a curious brow.
"He only has good things to say about you."
"I doubt that." Skye chuckled.
"No matter good or bad, once they come out of his mouth; they all become good things. He truly thinks the world of you."
Skye couldn't help but smiled. I feel the same about him.
Eye of the beholder. Yulian smirked and recalled opening the refrigerator earlier. "There are no carrots," he informed.
"Bowen and I don't really like carrots, so I don't buy them. If you want them for dinner, I'll ask Jensen to bring some when he comes over later."
"I'm not picky with food. It is fine with me, if we don't have carrots; but they are good for humans."
Humans? He makes himself sound like he's not one. Skye was used to the way Yulian talked, so he didn't nitpick. After all, this so-called cousin of Bowen's had been staying with them for almost a month. "You should eat a little even if you don't like them, unless you have a carrot allergy," Yulian proceeded. "In that case, you shouldn't eat any."
"We could eat other vegetables with similar nutrients as substitutes."
"What about eggplants?"
"I don't like them," Skye admitted. "I make them because Bowen likes them."
"I know that Bowen likes them. I thought that you did as well." Yulian handed him the shrimps in another strainer.
"You already peeled and deveined the shrimps? You're so fast."
"Bowen and Sion are hungry. We need to get dinner ready soon."
