In Time

Chapter 60

It took an hour before Clarisse naturally woke up. "Oh, you have come", she stated as she slowly got up to the sitting position. Her eyes automatically scanned around looking for the man. When she found that he was not there, she assumed that he had gotten back to his own place. "I'm sorry. I've made you wait. Why didn't you wake me up?", she asked as she walked over to where Olivia was sitting while working on some documents.

"You are busy recently.", Olivia smiled as her head lifted up and looked at Clarisse. In her mind, she snorted 'How would I dare to wake you up when the icy boss had warned me before?'

They didn't waste more time as they quickly got into the matter. There were some issues in the branch company in P Province. They found out that there might be a money laundry activity thus they had to plan an counter attack without scaring the snakes. They wanted to remove the traitiors involved once for all.

Their conversation didn't end until the sun rose. After their discussion, Olivia quickly went to the airport to fly back to the P province. As for Clarisse, Kevin had banned her from doing any business trips until her fashion business settled down. If this ban was heard by his grandfather, he would be laughed by the old man. The old man would tease him "Who said that I am henpecked husband when the other even tell apart between private matter and business matter."

No one would believe that Kevin, the cold-blooded CEO, would be so unprofessional, even he scared out Clarisse. However, Kevin wouldn't care more as long as Clarisse was healthy. He was afraid that she would be too tired. After all, she would soon leave the company when she officially became young madam Lou. As for her fashion business, it was one of her dreams so he wouldn't stop her from doing it. At least, that was the only thing he could do for her at the moment.

Since that it was Saturday, Clarisse was able to get back to her bed and slept until mid-day. When Kevin came after getting back from the company to settle some unexpected matters, she was still sleeping soundly.

Kevin walked over and sat on the bedside. His hand caressed her cheek before tucking her strand hair behind her ear. She looked so exhausted after her busy days. He leaned forwad to kiss her forehead before tracing down to her two eyes, nose and lastly he pressed his lips on her moist lips. "How long are you going to pretend, Mrs Lou?", his deep voice rang near her ear.

She couldn't help but smiled brightly before she slowly opened her eyes. "Good morning"

"Good afternoon", he replied sarcastically as he positioned his arms on her sides so she was wholly trapped under him.

"Oh..what time is it?", she turned to look at the clock on her side-table. Her eyes widened when she saw it was half past twelve.

For her entire life, it was the first time that she got up so late. Though during her childhood, she would wake up late as well, but it had never surpasses eleven o'clock.

"What time did you sleep ?", she could sense the anger behind his hoarse voice.

"Three?" , but when she saw his untrusting eyes, she couldn't help but blurted out the truth "Six"

It took only a second for the room temperature dropped to the lowest. She shuddered and lowered her eyes "I know, I'm wrong."

She knew that Kevin didn't like her stay up late since the doctor told him that her health depended on her sleep schedule. She was the type of person who would get sick if she lacked of sleep. Even if it was only for a night, she would feel unwell the next day.

"I will accept your punishment."

Kevin who was looking at her act found it hard not to smile. He maintained the stoic face while looking at the little bunny. Whoever saw her couldn't make themselves scold her.

"Oh? Then tell me, what kind of punishment that you should receive?"

Upon listening to his question, she slowly looked at his eyes before curved her lips "You can kiss me all your might and I won't resist."

He bit her cheek "This little bastard, are you trying to seduce me?"

"Is it too noticeable?", she grinned widely showing her white teeth.

Give no chance for her to retaliate, Kevin bit her lips which gave him frew access to explore her mouth. He sucked all of the sweetness in every corner. Their tongue danced wildly before Kevin turned the kiss to the gentle one. However, when her hands snaked to his hard chest. Again, the gentle kiss turned into the fiery one. Kevin didn't let her go until she protested. "I'm hungry."

"Who said that she won't resist?"

"Can't you let me eat first ? See ? You have kisses me over an hour. I don't know that kissing would take so long.", she pouted.
